Hey ladies, I'm hoping this thread gets some recognition and answers from some of you who have actually been on and come off of the sayana press contraceptive injection.
I only had one injection which was on the 7th of April 2021, approximately 24 weeks ago!
It was the worst thing i have EVER put in my body! My gosh i was awful on it, emotionally & physically i could not handle it.
What i am curious of though, is how long after this specific contraceptive injection did you ladies manage to conceive?
I am fully aware it is totally down to the individual and their body and i am aware that the leaflet states fertility can take up to a year to return.
Upon reading (lots) online i see that it says on average it takes 5 - 6 months to conceive following your last injection.
However along with that i have also read some horror stories of it taking people years to conceive or even for their periods to return!
I'd like to see if anybody on here has managed to conceive within the year and how long did it actually take from your last injection?
Its been nearly 6 months since my last injection and I am hoping and preying I am one of the lucky ones that conceives quickly! - we have not used protection or tried to be 'safe' since coming off it but as of yet no luck!
