Approaching ovulation as per my apps forecast. Did an ovulation test last night around 6pm and it was darker than the day prior not yet positive. Did one at 10am, and 2pm and getting lighter again. Have I potentially had a short surge and missed the positive or should I keep testing? Thanks

@caz198917 is the 6 pm one the only one you did yesterday? You may have caught the tail end of the surge at that point and would have caught it around 11am or so (if using ICs). I'd carry on testing for a couple more days just to be on the safe side and then if nothing else crops up just assume yesterday had a peak in it.

Are you checking your CM btw? Maybe monitor that to see whether it dries up/goes creamy to indicate you've ovulated.

Thank you for replying :) I stupidly didn't check all day yesterday other than 6pm. So your right perhaps I caught the tail end of it. The ones the day prior around 10pm were also faint. Cervical mucus is a bit egg whitey but cloudy too

Egg white is a good sign! Would tie in with a positive OPK yesterday too. If it dries up tomorrow hopefully you did ovulate today. Best of luck!

You generally ovulate 24-48 hours after your first positive OPK - you may have surged overnight but I would assume that means ovulation is today or tomorrow at the latest so you haven't missed your window!

I got my peak today 🥳
