Indent or positive?

Hi! I’ve just done my first ivf cycle. I’m 10dp5dt today.

Yesterday afternoon I did a test and got a faint line (top test). I could see it in all light. This morning I did another and it appears darker (bottom test) this pic hasnt been edited., Because they are faint I find it hard to tell if they have colour or if my eye is taking the red from the control line. My husband thinks they are pink but I am not sold. When I opened the packers of FR tests I could already see indents - much lighter than these, I couldn’t take a pic as it isn’t seen in photos. I am so confused.

Getting my blood test this morning. I moved it forward a day because I have had really light pink spotting since yesterday which I thought was AF but it’s not getting heavier. Sometimes when I wipe there is nothing and sometimes there is a bit of light pink. I probably won’t get my result til tomorrow.

I am so desperate for this baby that I am clutching straws now.

Thank you!

They’re positives! Congratulations xx

Looks like my tests that turned out to be positive. Congrats ☺️

I thought they might be and just bought a new box of FR and it’s start white negative. I think I was being overly ambitious and they were indents. Blood test will confirm neg. I’m glad yours turned positive chasingtherainbow!

Oh no, that's weird, never seen a FRER give a false positive. I am not pregnant atm, unfortunately both of my pregnancies ended in mc but trying again!

So sorry. I know frers are the holy grail but honestly they are awful for this. Go with the clear and simple brand in the plastic case not the cheap sticks. Never had any issues with those. Hope you yet your bfp soon.

Sorry, if they were positive they should be a lot darker by now. I always used FRER and got faint positives from as early as 4dp5dt, by 10dp5dt it should be a really strong line. Obviously only a blood test (well two really) will give you a definitive answer but I would say most likely they're either evaps or you've had a chemical.

Good luck OP, and look after yourself. I know how hard it is. (8 rounds of IVF and a lot of FRERs in).

I have seen this so many times! They are dark indents. Darkest I’ve ever seen. Blood test confirmed it’s a negative. I don’t know if that brand in Australia. I’ll have a look online. Thanks!

Yes it was a definite negative. Blood confirmed. You are so strong for doing 8 rounds. Are you still in it?

I have a 3 year old. She was conceived naturally but I didn’t get a positive for 15 days. I thought I was out for sure. I never tested early or had a glimmer of a faint positive with her up until 15 days later. You just never know!
