TTC - only been off pill 4 days !

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

I have been on the combined pill for 2 years now.

I recently came off Thursday last week. Myself and my partner are TTC with our first. This morning we had our first unprotected try.

I know it’s extremely early since coming off the pill…

I haven’t tracked my cycles yet so no idea what time they are. I was going to wait for my first period and then start tracking!

Anyone heard of falling only a couple of days after finishing the pill? Can you be back to normal so soon?

I fell pregnant the first month after I stopped the combined pill.

Only thing is I haven't even tracked my cycle and can't imagine I would ovulate a couple of days after finishing the pill packed.

I stopped taking the pill a week after starting a new packet as well.

@PugMumm if you stopped mid packet it can take a lot longer to get regular cycles. But most probably 4 days after coming off the pill is too early for ovulation. As you don't track your cycles, you can start testing two weeks after you had intercourse if your AF or withdrawal bleeding didn't start by then. Good luck on your journey 🤞

I got pregnant 4 months after stopping the pill I used easyathome ovulation sticks to work out my cycle as I had no clue after being on the pill 10+ years!

I had been on the pill for about five years, and taking three packets one after the other, without a break, to combat PMS. We decided to ttc, I got cold feet a week or so later and decided I'd go back on the pill after my next period (which I expected within the month ) but then I got the swollen boobs and metallic mouth and, well, my next period wasn't within the month...
