TTC after marina coil

I got my marina removed 15/7/21. I still have had no period but bled pretty heaving after removal. I just want to have a period so I know where I’m at to ttc. Anyone else had a similar situation? How long til period returns and conceiving?

I had my Mirena taken out in early June (on about cycle day 10), I ovulated on day 14 (I was using BBT and OPKs) and got a light period on cycle day 30 (a couple of days late for me but I didn’t get any periods whilst I had the coil so I may have just miscalculated the dates).
My cycle was completely normal in July and August (27/28 days, with ovulation on day 12/13).
I haven’t conceived yet but this is our first month properly trying (DH and I were in different places for most of my fertile window in July/August).
I’d give it another month or so and then have a chat with the doctor. Did you just get the coil for contraception or did you have it to manage painful/heavy/irregular periods?

I just got it for contraception after I had my daughter.
