OPK Test Results All Over the Place :(

This is my first month TTC and first time tracking my ovulation using the OPK tests.

I've been testing twice a day (usually 10-11 AM and 2-4 PM) and the tests have been horrible! Nothing close to a positive, and getting weak or no lines randomly.

I started tracking on Day 7 of my cycle:
Day 7-8: Very faint line
Day 9-10: No line at all
Day 11-13: Very faint line

Could I have gotten a faulty testing kit? It was quite a cheap version.. Or am I just not ovulating this month for whatever reason?

I have got other signs that ovulation is happening (EWCM), but these tests are really making me doubt everything..

Has anyone ever experienced this before?

That all sounds pretty normal so far, maybe you just ovulate later than you thought.

I ovulate around CD18 and I would have nothing but faint lines/no lines under around CD16 when I’d get a dark line maybe positive, then CD17 would be positive and CD18 it starts going down again often back to nothing by CD 19.

Everyone’s surge is different though and for some people it comes and goes in a day.

I wouldn’t panic yet! (When I first started tracking it was when I had come off the pill and my first few cycles I didn’t ovulate till around CD30-35! So Cd13 is nothing)

I echo what Elsie said, you might just ovulate later, I'm usually CD18 out of 28/29. Doesn't stop you from concieving. I found the Pre-mom app was helpful in interpreting my opk results to find the definite peak.
