You know the drill after this long haha! All of us ladies are ttc after miscarriage (whether that's MMC, MC, TFMR, ectopic or CP)

With my luck prop not but really don't think so lol, got another scan on Tuesday gynecologist wants it will be nice if bleeding lol.

@Spotsmama CONGRATULATIONS!!! Such great news!!! I was told that they prescribe low dose (usually 75mg) aspirin tablets to help the blood flow to the uterus. Maybe you could call your doctor tomorrow morning and get some advice? My doctor was able to speak to an emergency gynaecologist who prescribed me low dose aspirin and progesterone from bfp onwards for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy so maybe it's worth asking if they think you need either / both of those? Maybe you don't need either but it could be worth asking. Xx

@PeanuttyButter How are you feeling today? I know lots of people who have had spotting throughout their pregnancy with healthy babies but obviously it's not easy to stay calm in these situations. Is there anything you can do today to help to distract yourself? Sometimes I find TV/films helpful to keep my mind distracted. Maybe you can get a scan tomorrow so that you can see what's happening? Thank you. I've not really been able to get excited yet, not quite hit me and I'm sure when it does I will just be worried.
I'll call the Dr tomorrow see if I can get anything to support or help this pregnancy.

Checked cervix to low gs right at the entrance off my fanny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 so deffo my period lol maybe its coming early for the end of the month for it to happen lol wishful thinking got my app with my gynecologist on Wed so going to ask him if I can have progesterone for after ovulation did you take aspirin while ttc or just after your bfp 💚

Hi all, I was on an earlier incarnation of this thread but fell off it at some point last year.

I’ve had three MCs: one natural at six weeks in Jan 2020, an anembryonic pregnancy for which I had an MVA in May 2020, and a MMC for which I had another MVA in February this year.

Testing showed a chromosomal abnormality with the third pregnancy. I
was then referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic and had a phone appointment in July and my first set of blood tests and a scan last week.

Sod's law, I got a bfp yesterday. This is my fourth pregnancy and I am finding it hard to get excited as I'm so convinced it'll go wrong again. Have really enjoyed reading the stories here of successful scans etc so hope you don't mind if I hang out here until I know whether this pregnancy is a goer or not!

@itssquidstella welcome and congratulations!!!!🙂 Have you received any helpful results / feedback from your phone appointment and scan yet? Any prescriptions? Due to being referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic I think you'll be offered more regular free scans along the way until your little ones due date. I hope you can find as many moments as possible to enjoy your pregnancy. Xx

Welcome to r we family sorry for your losses but congratulations on your new bfp, pregnancy after losses is the most awful as you expect it all to go wrong but remember different egg different sperm.

Have you been put on anything like aspirin or progesterone if not get in touch with someone tomorrow as after 3 losses progesterone should be given.

I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp ttc num 1 now under a rmc consultant so hoping nxt time is successful. 💚

Hi @H0peing and @Babyghirl yes I am on progesterone and aspirin and I have been in touch with the private consultant I saw for a few appointments about Clexane/heparin.

Haven't heard anything back from the RMC yet but when I do, I'll let them know about this pregnancy (assuming it's ongoing!).

The EPU at my local hospital also said they would give me an early scan during any subsequent pregnancies when I saw them back in February, so I will try to get one sorted for six weeks.

It's all so stressful!

The injections I believe only be giving after a heartbeat is heard so maybe try and get a scan for 6 weeks so you can get them, it's stressful but try to relax I have learnt that no amount of stressing is going to change the outcome so just try to enjoy as much as you can 💚

@itssquidstella when did you start taking the progesterone and aspirin? Just wondering as different people are prescribed to take it at different times e.g. whilst ttc / after ovulation / from bfp. Did you decide whether or not you want to take heparin / clexane? I've never been offered them. I said yes to everything my gynaecologist offered me lol. Xx

@H0peing the consultant said I could take the progesterone either from ovulation or from bfp and I chose to take it from bfp as I didn't want to keep getting my period and having to refill the prescription! Aspirin I’ve self-prescribed tbh and again started from bfp.

I'm only about 15 dpo so very early days!

@itssquidstella Lots of people self-prescribe low dose aspirin. I hope that the progesterone and aspirin are really helpful for you in this pregnancy. I feel like they're both helping me so far and I know lots of people who think it helped them to have successful pregnancies. Yes, it's very early days for both of us really as I'm still only just over 5 weeks.

Really hoping that we'll all be celebrating our Rainbow Babies next year and that we'll find joy in the little kicks from our babies as our pregnancies progress. Xx

Oh yeah am not surprised tbh. It would be a miracle to conceive given how many times i BF and how little i sleep... and dtd 🥲
It's ok... i won't bother with opk though as i can't do them for 35 days again just to get a peak but have a luteal phase of 8 days. No point! 👎

@Babyghirl I’ve been having brown spotting on and off since about 11dpo and I got my bfp on Saturday so you never know!

No nt tested yet lol will give it another day or 2 if I can lol, it says on letter it can still be done if on period but the thought lol.
