Help with OPK's

So I'm new to opk testing following a mc. Wanted to see if I was ovulating again. I had a cycle of 32 days last month which is longer than usual. So I deceived to start doing opk's this month on cd15.

These are the 4 tests I've got so far. They seem to have got lighter after the first one so I though I might have ovulated before I started testing, but now it seems to be darker again today? I thought I would have already ovulated by now but these have confused me. Does it look like I'm leading up to ovulation?

Thanks

Yea I would say you haven't ovulated yet so keep testing. Are you testing the same time each day/multiple times a day? I found sometimes I had one that would be lighter than before but it was cause I would be testing at a different time or my urine was more diluted

Yeah I've been testing first thing in a morning. I don't have any more left now and I can't get to the shops until Sunday which is annoying. Maybe I can get some delivered so that I can continue.

I am CD18 today though, does that seem late to ovulate?

No I ovulated CD24 this month cause I think the covid jab has delayed it this cycle. Opks was an eye opener for me cause I always ovulated later than I thought

Ok thanks for your help! I'll persevere with the tests then. Managed to get hold of some from the supermarket but they're a different brand so will see how it goes over he next few days

I fell pregnant with my daughter on cd20 ovulation. Perfectly fine.

I'm on cd17 with no sign of any ovulation, having had the jab last month 🤦‍♀️.

@chasingtherainbow1
They say not to use the opks in the morning better times is meant to be between 2 and 8 for a better reading slot of people would test 2 then again at 8 maybe try l8r in the day.

Thanks for the advise guys! It's reassuring to hear that ovulation can happen a lot later than what is classed as normal.

@Babyghirl I didn't realise that it would be better to test later! I'll definitely try that from now on ☺️

Just done a Tesco one. Would you say this is positive?

If not it's got to be close hasn't it? I'm just so released that my body is getting back to normal!

I don't think it's positive yet as it's not as dark as the control line. Test again this evening Smile

chasingtherainbow1 · 05/09/2021 12:59

So this is today's test. Thanks for the help guys. One last question, does this mean I'm not ovulating now but will in the next 24-48 hours?

Now I'm just worried that my late ovulation might be causing my miscarriages. Might speak to the gp about it

Within 48 hours. Sometimes I'd ovulate the day I got positive too.
