CM pre BFP?? (WARNING!! TMI PICS AHEAD)

So today I'm 13dpo and expecting af tomorrow. This is my second cycle off the pill and last month my body was going a bit crazy so really don't have much to compare it too.

This month I've had cramps and sore boobs (mainly nipples) for the past few days which is a big reduction from last month when I had all the symptoms lol.

My cervix has been medium/high since ovulation, it also went (and remained) slightly soft on CD23 (now CD29). Today I checked it and it's dropped down fairly low but it's still pretty soft, I've never been able to figure out if it's open or not so who knows about that.

My cervical fluid has alternated between nothing and creamy since ovulation. Today, post-checking of the cervix, my finger was covered in this weird, gelatinous, clumpy cm, with one tiny dot of blood mixed in. Is this synonymous with anybody else's cm prior to a BFP or is it likely the spot of blood is the beginning of af?

Bump! Af hasn't arrived yet but it's still very early in the day! Cm today is abundant and creamy/lotiony (not like yesterday's). Cervix has shot up to high but feels firmer than it did yesterday

Hi OP this looks like the creamy cm I get after ovulation. As it’s very early days for you TTC then expect to be driven crazy by the symptom spotting analysing every change in your body. Have you tested yet? If AF is due then tests should be accurate now and will put your mind at ease one way or another.

@Hopefulhedgehog thank you for the reply! I was driven crazy last month so I'm trying to be a bit calmer this month which is why I haven't tested yet. If that speck of blood yesterday was ib then surely I should wait a few days for the HCG hormone to build up in my system before testing? Having said that I do plan to go out and buy some tests today after work so maybe I'll do one tomorrow :)

Okay so I caved the minute I got home with the tests - BFN However, they weren't super sensitive ones and I've just calculated that I'm actually 13dpo not 14dpo so there's a chance I'm still in the game and my HCG levels simply aren't high enough yet

You don’t sound like you’re doing a great idea of staying calm 😂 we’ve all been there. You’re still in the game until AF arrives. Fingers crossed.

Still no sign of AF today! My cervix has risen again but also doesn't feel as soft as it was anymore. CM is still creamy, although less abundant. I would've expected a bit of blood on my finger after checking everything out today, considering the fact I'm due on at any second and I gave my cervix opening a good 'ol feel, nothing to report there though!
I won't be testing now until Wednesday which will be CD35 for me as this is the longest cycle I've ever had off the pill, FX it comes back with a lovely BFP!

I'm gonna keep updating this until I get a definite answer, either AF or BFP!

So yesterday afternoon I went to the loo, wiped, and found some very dark, crimson red blood. It looked very gloopy as it was mixed in with a lot of cervical mucus. I put a tampon in, expecting to see af but when I took it out yesterday evening it had a very small amount of brown blood on it but nothing else. I didn't wear a tampon last night and, again, nothing this morning.

Cervical position today is still high, and firm but not super firm. Cm has dried up quite a bit although there was creamy cm around the tip of my cervix, no blood on finger after the check. Got pretty bad cramps today, the ones that make you feel sick. I also didn't sleep well last night. I'm expecting af to start in full force based on this but FX it doesn't!

What was the outcome @hereforthefood ?

@Hopefulhedgehog Hiya! Completely forgot to update this! Unfortunately Af got me on the 6th but this does mean my cycle length has been the same for the past 2 months, hoping it means my cycles are going to be nice and regular for the upcoming months of TTC :)
