Ttc #2 - 3 days late & BFN

Hey so I am TTC number 2. This is the first month since trying.

I am current 3 days late. My lower pelvic area feels so bloated and heavy... almost like I'm going to come on but I haven't.

Pregnancy test is negative, not even a faint line.

Could I be pregnant and it can take a while to show? I just feel a bit in limbo. Ive only just started trying so I'm not stressed but I'm just super confused.

Any experiences?

Are you sure of when you ovulated?(e.g tempting).

I'm ttc #2 and started on folic acid this month and so far no signs of ovulation, though it should be today. Apparently folic acid can put your body out of whack! Also, the vaccine can too.

Well I'm now questioning whether my ovulation may have been slightly delayed as I actually had covid the week before and at the start of my supposed fertile window.

I've tracked my periods all year, not on contraception we went back to using condoms haha. And they've been fairly regular since my first vaccine (don't know for sure whether I ovulated) but we generally have sex 3 times a week anyway.

I'm more so just concerned that my period can be this late...

There's a high probability that you ovulated later if you were sick. Almost all the times I was sick in the past would result in a longer cycle, especially if sick before or during fertility week.

@Bundaberg84 ok this is good to hear, it is the only obvious reason why I would be so late and not pregnant. Thanks
