Hi all,

Can you please tell me which pregnancy vitamins you'd recommend? I've heard some can make you feel ill or affect cycles? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Thank you Smile

Have you started three threads about this in the past half hour?

I used Pregnacare's before conception tablets for a couple of months before TTC. They were expensive and made me feel queasy (I didn't put two and two together at the time, and only subsequently realised it was the tablets making me feel ill) but I did get pregnant on the first month of trying. So a decidedly mixed review from me!

@CheeseRadio thank you for your reply. Did you continue with pregnacare when you were pregnant?

@Tippexy do you happen to have any recommendations?

Yes - once I got pregnant, I finished up the packet of Before Conception I was using, then moved onto the Pregnacare pregnancy ones. But I only continued with them for a short time as the tablets are really big and I had terrible sickness all the way through my pregnancy, so a mixture of not being able to comfortably swallow them and not wanting anything to compound my nausea, I ditched them. I have a very healthy toddler currently napping on me, though, so not continuing with them doesn't seem to have done any harm. But if I were to ever try to get pregnant again, I would definitely try another brand first, in case it was just that brand that didn't agree with me.
