Hi,

Sorry for the long post, but I am just feeling so defeated and I really hope someone can help me as I feel like I don't understand enough despite countless googling and looking through this forum.

TTC baby #1. OH and I have been trying but with no success. My cycles are really long, last month was 48CD, the previous was 39CD.

I rarely get a positive OPK but have put this down to me not catching the positive result. Last month I got a positive OPK on CD31.

This month I've had dark LH lines (no positibe OPK) up until last few days where now the LH lines are very faint. Which makes me think, has my ovulation already happened?

I've attached my BBT chart, and although I haven't been absolutely perfect in temping (this is my first month) I'm seeing that my temp isn't rising which would mean ovulation hasn't happened?

I'm just so confused and stressed by all this. Just when I think I'm starting to understand it something throws me off and its so difficult not to get upset by it all. I am getting CD35 pegesterone bloods taken this month, but thinking whats the point if my BBT isn't even rising?

Please could someone advise if I am just missing something here? Or is anyone (or has anyone) having a similar experience to me?

Thank you in advance.

Really sorry you are finding this tough OP. It doesn’t look from your chart as though you have ovulated yet so I would persevere with the opks. I would definitely go ahead with your bloods as if they show you are not ovulating it may get you referred for more investigations. Good luck

Thank you for replying. I will keep at the OPKs but I really think that must be it for this month because they are now so faint, whereas before they were darker. It's so frustrating not understanding whats going on. I'm getting bloods on Friday, and then when AF arrives I am having what they call the dye test. I felt really positive last month when I finally got a positive OPK but then nothing this month 😔 and no rise in temp.
