How often do you DTD?

Just curious...
When TTC how often do you DTD? Or if you've had a BFP how often did you DTD?

Try to every day over fertile window! But I have read a lot that every other is just as effective and actually possibly more effective if your partner has low sperm count.

We do every day over fertile window too. When I had my BFP last time (now a 3 year old!) we'd done it a lot that month, every day for several days in a row around ovulation.

Used to do it everyday but conceived when we slowed down on every other day/2 days break to improve sperm count!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm struggling to work out my fertile window. I don't think I'm ovulating but have been dtd every other day just in case.

We DTD every 2 - 3 days, impossible to do anymore than that here as we have a 10 and 8 year old 😂 so hopefully can catch my fertile window

Are you using OPKs OP? And/or BBT? BBT might be helpful if you are struggling with OPKs. We’ve been TTC for 9 months so mix up how often we DTD. Some months we DTD 3 days in a row up to ovulation. This month we did every other day 8, 10 and 12 and I think I ovulated say 11.

I would recommend using opks as well, if just for one month so you know a bit better when you're ovulating. If you have a regular cycle it's usually on the same CD, or maybe a day or two apart.

I’ve been pregnant 7 times (3 living DC), every pregnancy (except one actually!) was from following the SMEP.

The first 3 months tried to time it but then switched to every day and it ended up taking 2 years.

Every other day in fertile week. Might finish the week off with 2days in the row depending on how ovulation falls

Thanks everyone. Really reassuring to hear that there can be a bit of variation - sometimes I think should it be everyday but I think we would be exhausted!

@Luckystar1 We've followed SMEP this month too, only time will tell if it works!

@Hopefulhedgehog & @Bundaberg84 I've been using OPKs and I have charted BBT this month... Hopefully this means I've ovulated this month... If so I am really pleased as I thought I was someone who never ovulated and was just getting an LH surge.
