Hi all!

This is my first time posting on this so I was hoping someone may have had the same experience!

Currently TTC baby no.2. First child (DD) was conceived cycle 2 - I used the clear blue pink digital OPK because I had come of the pill (I double packed because I was on honeymoon) and my cycle went a bit loony.

Finally in a good place with myself to try for baby no.2, and I genuinely thought the same thing would happen again...turns out this isn't the case!

First two cycles of trying I used the same clear blue pink digital OPK's and got the solid smiley face. We DTD on the right days (so I thought!) and both cycles ended up with a period. However, for both cycles I literally had cramps starting with ovulation and lasting all the way through until my period arrived. I had back ache consistently, and my boobs throbbed. This is probably TMI but on cycle 1 of trying I even had a little bit of leaking through my boobs! I genuinely thought I was pregnant both times, but alas, my symptoms were just clearly PMS that lasted for nearly 2 weeks.

Now I'm either 4/5 DPO and I definitely had the usual ovulation pain (sharp, cramping sensation to which I can tell which ovary I'm ovulation from) but I haven't had any of the other symptoms I had last time. The odd twinge here and there, but nothing like the previous two cycles. Boobs are fine, but only new thing is the constant urge to wee all the time Confused

Has anyone else had anything like this before, where you've had regular symptoms for 2 cycles that ended in a period, but then suddenly a different cycle all together? I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot, but it's so very hard in the TWW. Trying not to do things like basal temperature because I don't want to get too stressed about it all!! Men honestly don't know how lucky they've got it!!!

Hi @CShandy01!
Ah yes, the more I try not to symptom spotting the more I do :) but yes, I have different symptoms each cycle. Some are similar y sone aren't. And in the two cycles I actually got pregnant I didn't have any symptoms at all, only a few twinges as if AF is on the way.
