Hi all, iv been put on metformin 500mg twice a day to help with ovulation to conceive but it's making me feel so nauseated all the time, I feel sick before I eat, after I eat when I wake up. I know it's for the greater good but can anyone shed any light on how long these symptoms will last?

I took metformin for two years when ttc. I found taking it with food hugely cut down the nausea. It took a few weeks for my body to adjust though. If that doesnt work, there is an alternative slow release version that is more gentle on the stomach.

Good luck with your ttc journey! Ours ended with 3 cycles of letrozole and currently feeding my 10 week old as we speak :)

I've been taking one in the morning with breakfast and then one at bedtime, I feel so sick I cant work out if I'm full or hungry #confused

Still not feeling any better, back in work next week and really don't want to still be feeling like this, I can't go back to my docs as I bought them via an online pharmacy as I'm still waiting for my referral 😢😢
