8 days late -negative tests- PCOS

Hi all,
I am currently 8 days late and I have a PCO. My cycle is normally 33-36 days but I'm currently on day 42. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I have done 4 hpt and all have been negative this week. How late did your test show positive after your period was due?

I should also mention that I have had nausea this week and a bit of heartburn. Today I can't stop running for a wee when I haven't even drank that much

Do you track your ovulation? Just to determine if you're already late or if you ovulated late?

@Bundaberg84 I don't due to my pcos but my app guesses and we had sex when the app said it was a high chance of pregnancy

@Emcnally820 got it. The 'problem' is that you don't really know if your AF is overdue or if you ovulated late and therefore aren't late yet. But generally speaking testing 3 weeks after intercourse should be when you can expect a reliable test result.
