You need minimum ten days between conception/implanting and period as this is the luteal phase ( where progesterone needs to stay up to keep lining of your uterus there for the implanted blastocyst- which then becomes the embryo...progesterone stays up once you implant because it's continues being released to help the implant stay! If progesterone drops that's when the lining starts to disintegrate and fall hence your period...) so it could JUST be enough...but it's tight...
Of course I'm not a doctor or medical professional. Check medical websites too. Good luck 🤞🏼

Thank you so much, I have a little boy already but this is all new to me I didn’t track ovulation or anything. I got my period and I just feel the same as I did when I was pregnant with him only difference is I have a period and a negative result. Iv read somewhere if you ovulate later you period can be later or you can still get your period on the same day( other people’s experiences) just super confused because now I’m wondering I’m getting a negative due to ovulating later and maybe to early to tell! I suppose it’s all down to luck and everyone has different stories to tell about there journeys and experience! X

Also, I hear so many mixed opinions and stories that I don’t even take notice of medical pages! Because I know people that have conceived day 24 of their 28 day cycle and successful I know people who have ovulated later, got there period on the original date expected and then got a positive a week later! Also medical websites state you cannot have periods when pregnant, a family friend had one all throughout and then some people have had them for 5 months! It’s all up in the air at the moment isn’t it, I think what’s written online is because that’s the research and more common than any other scenarios!! Hope your well x

I get what you mean... people can get period later if they ovulate later but I think that's usually because they've implanted and the progesterone stays up..? Then they either get a period later or a 'light period' that's the implantation blood. I've heard of stranger things so anything goes with this TTC. Nothing is straight forward is it? So exasperating x
