TTC cycle 1 baby 1

[RAP08]

I'm 2dpo and in cycle one of ttc baby number 1. In the dreaded two week wait. AF due 8th September (my birthday) so hoping she doesn't show up! Anyone else in the same boat. I'll be 31 in September :)

@RAP08 I'm pretty sure I ovulated on Tuesday so I'm 3DPO, 1st cycle TTC and it's also baby #1 😁 I'm 27

@MissM94 so not far off from each other. How is your other half with the whole process? I think I need to explain the process a bit more to mine

@RAP08 not far atall! Haha aww he's pretty clued up tbf! I mean, they're the ones in control after all 👀 was using good old withdrawal prior to this month so he's fully on board with the time line & understands what fertile week means so it's a good start hahaha! Which bits do you think you need to explain? 😂

@MissM94 oh that's good! I think just the importance of the fertile week! I think he was kinda under the assumption that you could just get pregnant at any point! Have you been using ovulation tests or temperature checking at all?

@RAP08 yeah haha his friend knows we're ttc and his friend told him the best time to get pregnant is the day after AF has gone and i was like ermmm I don't think it does I don't ovulate till later on 😂 OPK's yeah but I just can't commit to temping 😂 I'm rubbish.. what about you?

@MissM94 yes I'm using the ovulation strips and my friend gave me some of the clear blue ones (as she is now in her third trimester !) she said the main things she looked for was ovulation and changes in discharge. I'm the same as you - just don't think I could keep up with temp testing!! Haha some men have no idea! But in fairness everyone is taught how not to get pregnant at school. Very little about how to get pregnant!

@RAP08 yeahh! I get strong ovulation pains so that's always a good indication & discharge definitely changes! Ahh well fingers crossed we get lovely lines in a couple of weeks 😂 omg yes so true! So quick to throw the pill to us haha
