This is our first cycle ttc #1 after a mmc at 12 weeks in March. Finding the wait so hard! I’ve been having niggly cramps and a pulling feeling for a couple of days now. I’m determined not to test as I really don’t want to see a bfn. Did anyone have cramps before getting a bfp?

Hey, I've just had my bfp this morning at 12dpo and I can honestly say that the cramping feeling felt just like af cramps and still does now. I'm not going to worry myself with it as everything I've read says it's normal.

But to answer your question, you absolutely can have cramps before you get your bfp. I tested just yesterday and got a bfn so even a day makes a difference

Thank you for replying. Congratulations on your bfp! You must be thrilled! That’s what my midwife told me last time, I think I’m so anxious from my mmc.
We’re away at the mo so if af doesn’t make an appearance I’ll test Friday/Saturday x

So sorry for your loss. I had a mmc in 2019 and it was heartbreaking. Good luck in your journey I conceived my daughter 8 months after my mmc and she was worth the pain and heartache.

@Chanel05 sorry you have been through a mmc too, it’s so heartbreaking but it helps hearing others have conceived too. My partner has been amazing, I just hope this is our month. I’m refusing to test until I’m late so I can save myself some disappointment.

@Littlemissc93 I am sending you lots of positivity! I had two mmcs last year over a nightmare 4 months. I was a mess both physically and emotionally. I’m 36 and only met my boyf a few years ago, previously I never thought I’d find the right person to have kids with. Today AF is 6 days late and I’m feeling nervous and hopeful and scared that I’ll go through the same thing again. I’ve had weird pulling/cramping pains every so often feels like AF a bit. I’ve decided I will cope with disappointment better if I get AF rather than seeing a BFN so I’m going to wait it out for longer. It’s like torture!

I had a mmc end of July (9 weeks) sac stopped growing before 4 weeks
I haven't yet had a period since and have no idea when I ovulated but BD 2 weeks after I stopped bleeding which was august 16th
I've been quite nauseous the past few days, extremely tired and had some niggling little cramps, loose BM and last night I had a slight bit of pinky CM but no more since
tested today but Bfn still currently having some pains in my left side and also back ache not sure if that's anything to do with work though
Hope we all get our bfp!

Hi girls first month trying after MC last month period not due until next week 7dpo yesterday I had a few bits of brown spotting thought af was coming early and then nothing fingers crossed for us all this month!

I’m so sorry for your mmc, it really is crap. All your symptoms so promising, I’m trying really hard not too. Although my oh had to pull the car over as I felt so nauseous. From what I’ve read it’s still early to test so don’t give up hope yet! I’ve still got the full ache/pulling pain so fx to us all. Fx af stays away! x

That sounds promising! How many dpo are you?

Yes it is still a little early, I'm counting it from the day we actually BD too so tonight would make me 10dpo providing I ovulated the night we had sex
I have no idea how it works after a mmc though, I guess I would only know if I used opks or waiting for my af to arrive
We didn't plan on getting pregnant asap so would be really lucky if we did, I do have kidney stones and I passed one this morning so symptoms could just have been from that but most of them aren't something kidney stones would cause possibly the nausea and back pain but I am very familiar with the pain it causes and its the other side and nothing like that do fingers crossed!

I'm just hoping the pinky CM was implantation (felt a fair bit if cramping before and after so hopefully!)

@Amy7912 I’m 13dpo, af is due today!
@lelrx I’m not sure how it works after mmc either, it’s taken a while for my cycle to get back to normal. Let’s hope you do have a lucky surprise! I hope the kidney stones clear up soon, they sound so painful for you.
It’s frustrating pms and early pregnancy symptoms are so similar!
It could’ve been implantation and it all sounds really encouraging! Are you going to test? xx

How exciting have you tested today??

I think I'm going to leave my testing until tomorrow now I'm working all day today which takes my mind off it and then got a day out planned tomorrow with my DH, DD and Granny in law so will probably do one tomorrow eve which will be 12dpo (guesstimate)

Do any of yous plan on testing soon, any more symptoms? Xx

@Amy7912 not yet, I’m too scared incase it’s another negative! I might cave tomorrow though. Are you going to test today?

@lelrx I wish I was back at work so I had the distraction! I might test tomorrow, then I’ll be a day late. I’ve still got mild cramps, I’m eating a lot more than I normally do and I’m so tired! Have you had anymore symptoms? xx

I don't think I need to I've just sat on the toilet and a drop of blood very loudly fell into the toilet I'm only 9dpo at must be coming early for me. Fingers crossed for you all though

Okay so just went for a BM
Always seems to bring any blood out if there is any
Had some light pinky/red mixed with abit of clear CM
Assuming I'm out now
Feeling really deflated, had twinges each side all day too so must be AF coming xx

@lelrx @Amy7912 oh no! That’s so upsetting and I’m so sorry af has appeared/on the way. I never thought it would be this stressful or upsetting to fall. Fx for next month!
Af hasn’t appeared for me yet but I’ve had cramps on and off today so I think she’ll appear for me too. xx

I think when you want to get pregnant you look out for every single symptom but usually I wouldn't take any notice

I'm the exact same some spotting after a BM but now it's hardly nothing but I do feel I'm out this month, when are you due Af

I'm not due AF for another 5 days the spotting has stopped again now it's driving me crazy definitely don't feel pregnant this month thought just waiting her arrival now, hope she doesn't come for you!

Fx for all of you! My AF is now 7 days late but I’m still trying my best not to test as I can’t handle the thought of seeing a BFN. After my 2 mmcs my doctor told me to wait to test 2 weeks after my missed period so I’m holding out as long as I can. I keep getting cramps and twinges, trying to keep myself busy to distract from snapping and POAS. Ironically the last few months I’ve been symptom spotting like crazy every month and have been disappointed. This month I was convinced no symptoms then I’m late 🤦🏾‍♀️

So I caved this morning and took a test because I was so convinced af was arriving with the cramps….
I’m in shock! xx

Congrats!! 🥳🥳 I have been doing my dpo wrong I'm only today 9dpo did a clear blue early detection it was negative come back to through it in the bin and it looks positive but it has to be an evap as it's been left there, absolutely gutted, so so happy for you!!

@Amy7912 thank you, I’m shocked because this was the first month of trying and I’ve been so negative about it! I don’t know too much about evap lines but try not to worry. It’s so so hard but try and wait until af is due. In my first pregnancy back in January I tested at 11dpo and it was negative. I only got a positive at 14dpo at the earliest. You’re not out yet!
