Ovulation testing advice

I have ordered some ovulation test strips from Amazon which I will start using when they arrive.

I have never used them before, is it best to test around the same time everyday?

Greatful for any advice.

Most important is that your pee isn't diluted, that's why it's recommended to use the first pee in the morning. Good luck!

@Bundaberg84 Thank you, hopefully they help to track things! 🤞

I'm really confused. I thought this too.

But in the actual instructions on mine it says test between 4pm-8pm.

@allthingssparkly I also think you will get a "manual" with the okp to help you further with the whole process. I have the clear blue fertility monitor, and it gives me a time frame in which I can use the tests, so it's always around the same time.

@Bundaberg84 they are coming on Friday so I will check 😊 I'm in my fertile window now and according to the app I use, it says I'm due to ovulate tomorrow but they aren't always accurate that's why I want to use the tests too.

I used the cheap amazon ones throughout the day, usually once with FMU and once in the afternoon (after a wee hold!)

I used them alongside CB digital just to confirm

I think (may be wrong as I am 32 weeks pregnant now so it has been a while!) LH surge tends to be in the afternoon and if it is short/sharp you can miss it on cheapy tests x

@Amz6219 true, I think once the tests get darker you're supposed to test twice a day to not miss the peak
