Can’t believe I’m writing that, when once upon a time I couldn’t even imagine having 1!
DS is 8 months old and we’ve just decided we’re gonna stop using protection. We’ve always said that we want our children close together.
I’m going back to work in October- I could potentially be going back pregnant! I feel so excited, please tell me I’m not mad

Congratulations! Welcome to the TTC #2 club. You're not mad if that's what you want! My DD is 2 and I have been ready to try again since she was about 18months! She wasn't the best sleeper back in the day so at 8 months I would have run a mile 🤣🤣

@madeinthe80z thank you DS has been quite a ‘low-maintenance’ baby (don’t like saying easy or good) so I think we can get away with a small age gap. Second child will probably be a nightmare 😂

I don't like the easy or good baby thing either. They are just being a baby, doing what babies do, they aren't bad 😥

Have you been taking a pill or anything then that you are stopping? We were just using condoms and now we aren't so thankfully my cycles have been fairly regular (except for after covid jabs!)

Yeah we’ve just used condoms since DS was born as I don’t want to go back on the pill, it was terrible for my mood. Unfortunately I think I’ve already ovulated this month :( oh same after my first jab I was 3 weeks late! Got my second one next week so if a similar thing happens again then should be ok to still TTC on my September cycle 🤞

Ouch! 3 weeks?! Mine was 8 days late after the second and early after the first 🤷‍♀️ hopefully back on track now. I am about 2-4 DPO now I think. I ran out of ovulation tests so haven't tested this month. I've gone off EWCM which is usually a good indicator for me. My ovulation day I think does vary between CD16 and CD20. We DTD day 16 and 18 so hopefully I've covered it. Maybe another one tonight (CD20) for good measure! If we have no luck this month, I'll be investing in an expensive digital ovulation kit I think!

I know mad isn’t it. Really hope it’s not that bad again after 2nd jab.
I used OPK for a bit when TTC number 1 but I could never seem to get a positive! I went on CM and cervical examinations. Tracked it all on the fertility friend app. Now I literally just go by EWCM to know when I ovulate every month. FF app says I ovulated early last week and that is exactly right, I had all the signs, so I trust it pretty well. Yeah mine is around day 20 as well give or take a few days, cycles are about 34 days long each. Used to be 28 days before I had DS.
