BFN - how do we cheer ourselves up?

So this is cycle 7 and it's ended in a BFN YET AGAIN 😭Was really hoping would be successful this time as we were on holiday, relaxed, and really put the work in Wink

So tonight's dinner is a whole varied selection of cheese, continental meats, and port. Trying to find a small silver lining of it not being our time this time.

For any others in the same position what do you do to help make yourself feel better/cheer your self up before the next go?

Yeah I usually have the wine I was avoiding!! Like the cheese and meats idea ☺️I try and do a bit of self-pampering too, a nice hot bath etc. But still feels sh!t!!

Hmmm another month of Aunt Flo visiting rather than a BFP. Treating myself to Avery lovely bottle of red from M&S, and a very bloody rare ribeye steak from the farm shop tonight for dinner.

Also off on a spa evening next weekend, so can fully enjoy time in the thermal rooms!

I usually go for prosecco. It was the due date of my pregnancy that ended up miscarriage. I found out it's BFN so had champagne, gin, prosecco... Ended up with a massive hangover and eating dominos in bad feeling sorry for myself. Don't recommend anyone doing this!!!

Usually I do treat myself with a nice drink and some lovely dinner. I try to buy myself a little present or treat myself too every time.

I also have a plan on my head to go for some private testing if no luck by next year.

Also the fact that there are so many other women like me going through the same thing every months makes me feel less alone Flowers

@MiamiBeach104 I'm sorry for your previous loss. Fingers crossed you get to see a wonderful health care provider who can really help and support. Hoping you get positive answers that you can turn in to positive actions to help you on your baby journey.

@andpeggy1 thank you. Very kind words. Good luck to both of us and everybody else out there Flowers

And in the words of DJ khalid....
ANOTHER ONE!

Another month goes by another BFN. I've booked myself a back head and shoulder massage next weekend as my non pregnant consolation prize!

Anyone else want to join in on what you do to cheer yourself up/treat yourself to after another sun appointing BFN?

@andpeggy1 hey! Been trying on and off for a couple of years, have one DS who’s 5, only took 3 cycles with him so I’m really feeling it this time round.
AF due tomorrow, bfn this morning. We’re going away on Sunday, so will definitely be going all out with all the food and alcohol 😂

Hi girls. A small thread which I thought I might join as I am on cycle 6 and feeling very sad that I am not pregnant. I am 32 and my partner is 34. I have this incomprehension at WHY I am not getting pregnant. It just SHOULD have happened by now which I am sure you can both emphasise with. I think I will buy myself something if I get a BFN again. Hope you enjoy your massage @andpeggy1xx

Sorry OP for your BFN. Please don't give up, I can't imagine after cycle 7 how disappointing it must be. I am only on cycle 2 and already driving myself mad.

It is so so easy to symptom spot, I convinced myself last month (I know very early) and I was stupidly shocked to see a BFN.

Good luck to you and remember to come on here if you need us SmileBrew 🤞🏻
