I am TTC and really need to lose some weight- who is with me?! 💪 would be great to have an accountability buddy!

I've had a MC a few months ago and it's difficult watching the months go by without a positive result but now I'm just telling myself that each month is an opportunity to lose another few pounds and be even healthier when I am successful 😊 it's really helping!

A new job working from home and all the lockdowns have meant the weight has piled on!
My plan: start C25K again after going on a running strike when my marathon was cancelled 🤣 30 day yoga challenge. Will do a few gym workouts too when I can. Reducing carbs and keeping calories around 1300-1500 weekdays and 1800 at weekend. X

What's the yoga challenge?? I have noticed the muscles in my throat/neck are sore and tight (feels like the lump you get when you're upset) so I really need to de-stress

Yes could be tension- this baby making business is bloody stressful 😩 it could also have an energetic meaning- do you feel unable to speak up or talk about something? Xx

Hi all, can I join please?

I plan on starting TTC no 2 in October. I am still carrying a lot of baby weight from baby no.1 (who is 15 months ).

Current weight 11st 11lb, I am hoping to drop 1st in the next two months. I plan on doing intermittent fasting and really try to limit alcohol intake.

@SLM1986 will have to look her up ☺️ umm yes I think it's anxiety mixed with tension lol and probably a big part of it is TTC because I only have here to talk about it 🙈 hopefully diet and exercise will help! It's day 1 woo☺️ Xx

@fallingup Yes, I've set my MFP so I can track my food and weighed it/boxed everything for today and put it in a cooler bag. Going to tell myself if it's not in the bag, I can't eat it!! My neighbours agreed to start doing C10K with me again as we stopped it with the heatwave then the downpour Grin

Yes day 1 for me, although to be fair I’ve had a lot of days 1’s in the last year, very few day 2s and almost no day 3s 😂

@LH1987 I hear ya ! Haha.

I went for a run this morning 💪 my partner and I were training for the London marathon 2020 (from couch to 5K!) and the last time I ran properly was a half marathon just before the world went mad in March 2020. I've ran probably only 10 times since 😩 I'm so angry at myself for losing that level of fitness and after losing 2 stone, I've gained about 3 stone in 18 months 😭 I blame stress of cancelling two weddings, baby making, new job, lockdowns and lots of laziness 😬

How are everyone's healthy Monday mornings going? X

I'm in MFP too! Although I feel like it might be putting my cals too low! It originally told me 1200 lol

I weighed myself (84kg) my BMI is 27 🥲 so here's to day 1.

We don't have much food in the house because we were isolating so I've had peanut butter on toast for lunch 🤣 went for a walk too ☺️ let's do this!

@fallingup hey! Gréât 1200 does seem quite low. How much did you want to lose per week? Did you adjust it for activity levels? I'm on about 1440 a day. X

How is everyone else getting on? I'm on a 'rest' day so going for a long walk this morning and doing yoga before I start work. X

Hoping to lose some weight so I can have the healthiest pregnancy possible!

I was a pig during my last pregnancy.. hence me looking bigger now than at full term with #1! Blush

I know how you feel @sophhhxo - when I found out I was pregnant I was of course so happy but sad that i wouldn't have bump journey pics and really worried about how my 5ft 4 frame would be able to carry a baby & baby weight as well as over 14 stone in weight 😩

I've been for a nice long walk today? Meditation in the beach with some yummy healthy cacao for breakfast. How is everyone else getting on? My partner is away for a few days so going to do some food prep and stock the freezer up with healthy meals :) x

Oh that's weird your can't edit or delete posts!!!

I wanted to add that when I suffered a MC I was of course heartbroken but promised myself that when I fall pregnant again I would not have these worries and would already be in an exercise routine I could safely continue throughout my pregnancy. Im not blaming my weight for the MC but my MC is not going to be for nothing- if that makes sense!! It's been easier to deal with thinking that way :) x

TTC for #1 and am on month 3 with no result yet. Appreciate this isn't long compared to many but I thought it would happen by now and wondering whether my weight isn't helping :(

I'm also doing C25k :)

@LittleMysSister welcome 😊 I know how you feel- I conceived first month of trying and although it wasn't meant to be- 2 months later in like how has it not happened yet?!!! But as I say now every month that goes by is another opportunity to be even healthier for my pregnancy 💪

I keep meaning to start yoga!!

I’ve started spin classes and Pilates again and trying to stay motivated to exercise 2-3 times a week

I think I am on Week 5 but have missed 2 weeks due to being on holiday so may have to redo Week 4 again Hmm. I have completed it a year or so ago but am redoing with my DP and certainly haven't maintained the fitness level.

I came off the mini-pill in mid-May so August was my 3rd cycle, but no idea if everything is back to normal yet and whether I'm back ovulating after the pill. I am guessing yes as my periods are regular and have been since stopping, but who knows?

Just pissed off because I waited for aaaaages to come off the pill just in case it happened straight away, and now it obviously hasn't and I'm like urgh....should have just come off ages ago.

Never in my life would I have thought you could have unprotected sex for 3 months and not end up pregnant Blush...the things they don't teach you at school ay.

Hi all!! I've started the week off well- did lots of food prep yesterday and have set myself up for a bloody good week. Am going back to my old faithful- clean and Lean by James Duigan. Pretty simple and I always feel amazing after a few days- quite normal to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks too!! Concentrating on eating right and getting my steps in this week 👍🏻 how is everyone else doing? Xx
