I wrote here yesterday explaining my story. How I’ve been for scans and they can’t find a baby but can see a sac. Went for a second scan still nothing. 6 blood tests to check HCG levels.
Worried about an ectopic pregnancy.
I have a scan again this Tuesday but Friday just gone I started bleeding lightly and yesterday it got heavier with cramps. Hospital said to keep an eye out and if it gets worse then call back.
This morning I just woke and went for a pee and a lump of what seems like flesh came out and I caught it on tissue. It’s long and and quite big covered in blood.
The hospital said to me Friday they can’t say whether I’m having a miscarriage or not until they know for definite what’s going on.
But does this lump that came out is that a miscarriage? Does that mean it’s passed? I’m so confused! Sad Thanks

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. If you’re bleeding and passing large clots, it’s possible you’re having a miscarriage, yes. But, without a conclusive scan and blood work, nobody can say for sure what’s happening to you, especially not here. I know from personal experience that all the waiting and uncertainty is horrendously cruel, but sadly that’s all you can do at the moment.

If the bleeding gets very bad and you’re soaking through pads in under an hour get yourself to A&E and/or let your EPAU know ASAP.

In the meanwhile do everything you can to be kind to yourself. I hope this nightmare is over for you soon and that this next scan gives you the answers you need. x
