Broody and sad

Basically that. I'm so broody all the time and it's making me so sad. I'm 28, married for 3 years, together for 11. We'd like at least 2 children. But I'm studying for my degree and now's just not the right time financially. Anyone in a similar position?

Didn't mean to post this in conception, I meant to post in chat but it posted in conception. Sorry!

I was the same! Had my coil out in December but had been brooding away for 18m before that, often cried because I wanted a baby so much but the timing was just wrong for us for quite a few reasons. I don't really have anything practical to suggest but it might be comforting to know you're not alone! It's so frustrating being in the position where it wouldn't be the end of the world but it's not ideal, one thing I would say is that I am glad we waited until we are in the position we are now to try.

@endogal thank you so much! So happy for you that you're now in a position to try! But yeah, I just so badly want to start my own family. It does feel hopeless sometimes. Thanks for the reassurance! X

I was like this, and still am as I wait for the right time for number 3. What helped/helps me is starting to prepare my body for when the time is right. Tracking ovulation, taking supplements, eating the right foods etc... Makes me feel like I've started the journey! My worry is, I'm constantly broody and can't imagine not being. Not sure how I'll l cope when I'm done having babies!

Yes this is such a great idea. I've been tracking my ovulation for a year now. I'm going to start taking supplements early next year, maybe like March time. And then I think I'll feel like I'm doing something. I'd ideally like to start trying the end of next year, but it feels sooo far away you know? Good luck with ttc if and when for no.3!!
