AF 4 days late and BFN

Hi,

AF is 4 days late, I've been having cramping like AF is coming for a week (I was like this in my other pregnancies too), no tender boobs like usual but my nips are very sensitive.
I had been poorly this cycle so only DTD once in the fertile period so fully counted myself out this month, so didn't test until today and got BFN.
Not quite sure what to make of it as I am usually regular cycles of 26 days and I'm now CD30. 🤷

Hi OP I am currently two days late and was BFN on the day AF was due. I am going to test again in the morning.

I am also like clockwork so totally confused. I have my vaccine this cycle so think it could be that!

I don't know how I managed to wait until today to test, probably because I had convinced myself I was out this month, but that BNF was still disappointing.

I did have a Google actually, I tested positive for covid at the beginning of this cycle, I'm fine now but wondered if that could have had an impact, couldn't really find anything though.

I think I might test again in the morning with fmu, I tested in the afternoon today. but feel a bit silly testing again when I clearly got a BFN, like who am I kidding (ha myself, obviously!)

AF arrived this morning 5 days late, and the cramps are horrendous...... She came with a vengeance!
FX you get your BFP this morning

Sorry AF arrived. But being sick can delay your cycle, I experienced this before as well. Doesn't even have to be the whole package with fever and whatnot, sometimes it's just that your body is working on fighting virus and puts everything else "on hold" so to speak.

Kates898 · 19/08/2021 10:20

Yeah I think you're right, with me usually being regular that's what I'm putting it down to. At least AF has arrived and I can start on a new cycle I suppose, was in limbo after my BFN

Sorry to hear AF turned up but at least now you’re onto the next cycle!

I tested this morning BFN but still no AF. You’re right the limbo of it is worse!

I’ve had a fair bit of stress too this month so maybe it’s that who knows….

Kates898 · 19/08/2021 12:02

Oh yeah, possibly the stress, hope that improves for you. When will you test again?

I'm sure our bodies just torment us!

I don’t know, I don’t feel pregnant at all so feel like there is no point to test but at the same time I’m never late.

Been waiting all day for AF to turn up! Had a few period pains yesterday and thought oh good that’s that then, but still no….

Kates898 · 20/08/2021 10:04

The wait is hard isn't it!? FX for you. Maybe test a couple of days after your BFN?

AF is so much heavier for me this month as well as being so late so looks like it's just completely different this cycle.

Still no AF this morning. I am on day 4 now too, so might just try and forget about it over the weekend and then see where I am at.

I don’t have any tests left and resent buying them if they’re just going to be BFN 🤣

Kates898 · 20/08/2021 12:14

You'll drive yourself crazy testing all the time so waiting a few days sounds sensible. Keep me posted, I have everything crossed for you

AF IS HERE 🤣 at least I can enjoy my wine now
