Hi. I'm new here. I am 3 days late from my period. My period is extremely regular always and only ever is a day or so early if any. I have took 2/3 tests and all are coming back negative instantly. I have cramp just like usual menstrual cramp that I've always got. There is absolutely no sign of any blood though. I've had sex to try bring it on like it can do and nothing. What is going on!! X

Have you had your vaccine this cycle?

Daniellejlx · 15/08/2021 15:21

No I haven't. I had my first vaccine in February and none since. I did have covid but had a cycle after that and it was fine and on time x

Sometimes you do just ovulate late which then puts your period back, tiredness, illness, stress can all affect ovulation. Are you ttc as I found as soon as I started my periods suddenly went all over the place, due to stress and over analysing everything inthink xx

I'm kind of trying as such. We haven't tracked ovulation for two months now as I was just too invested making myself worse. I thought I could have potentially ovulated late but was unsure. I do genuinely have the exact same cramps my time of the month would give me. All tests are negative what is also making me confused. I started a new job but haven't really been stressed just soo confused and wondered if it ever happened to anyone before xx

Could this be effected because I got covid? Is that possible?

A couple of cycles ago I had a lasy period by about a week. I'm pretty certain it was related to covid jab, so I suppose it's possible covid could delay it especially if you've been unwell with it @da.

Covid didn't even effect me!!! I'm sooo confused with it all! Thank youuu

I’m in exactly the same boat as you are, 4 days late, lots of symptoms ( but could also be af related ) but negative tests.

Daniellejlx · 15/08/2021 20:42

@XxRhiXx oh girl I'm going into my fourth day tomorrow. I have such bad heart burn, I have menstrual cramps and everything but zero sign. I'm struggling to understand what is happening it's annoying xxx

This happened to me at Christmas I think there was even a thread on it! About 5 negative tests and over 2 weeks late, I was going crazy that tests were negative and no AF, was also being sick, sore boobs and generally just nauseated for 2 weeks etc. It came a day or two after phoning the drs at about 2 weeks late. He thought it was most likely a chemical pregnancy and to phone back if I was a month late, apparently totally common to skip a whole period even if your like clockwork!
