Anyone dealing with secondary IF?

We're on the verge of re-entering the oh so wonderful world of infertility treatment & I'm really bloody tired of it all already.

Yes we are dealing with secondary IF (and tired of it too). There are lots on MN taking time for the second. You are not alone!

We also had primary IF, and have already re-entered the world of treatment, which I found a bit scary to begin with (I'd tried to block it all out!). It all came flooding back pretty soon! We have done another iui and ivf but no luck. We saw the consultant today about options (especially as stats reduce significantly after a number of failures). Our particular problem doesnt respond to treatment ( chromosomal abnormalities and possibly an implantation problem) but I got pg with DD naturally whilst waiting for the next treatment cycle. So waiting for another miracle... We may have a different version of ivf which seems to help after lots of failed attempts. But 'resting' until the new year.

It is all pretty crap and painful (in lots of ways) so I hope you are doing ok? What type of treatment will you be doing? When? How old is your DC?

Happy to try and help support if you would like it.

God it's good to be not on my own. Everyone (I mean absolutely everyone) I know is pregnant with their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th 6th . I'm struggling to stay even remotely optimistic.

We've been ttc for 4 years had several failed (abandoned because I over respond) IUIs, clomid does nothing for me, two IVFs (with ICSI) one a BFN, one a second trimester loss. There's nothing wrong with us - or so we keep getting told - so we took a year off from treatment to try naturally. Nothing's happened so we're back to thinking about more treatment.
