Urgent help needed: ?First every BFP

I know it’s too early to test but I did it anyway. Cycle day 27. TTC since Jan. this is the only cycle we’ve stopped tracking ovulation. My cycle is usually 28-32 days. I think there is the faintest line on this test? Am I going crazy?

This is the FRER with and without flash. It is so so faint. I’m really not sure! It is so early also
Only tested because were planning on having drinks with friends tomorrow. Ahhh

Also that line should become stronger every two days As the hcg doubles. So don’t worry about it being faint , it’s actually a decent line .

That's not faint at all! Especially when you're not even overdue AF yet. Looks 100% positive to me

thank you all! I’m just so nervous about it. All the months I have tested and not even a hint of a line.
I know i’ll have to wait and see what will happen, but I just want to know now! Heard lots of people having indents on FRER too so not sure if it is truly positive. I don’t want to get my hopes up too soon eek!

A frer evap is normally colourless. That is a positive. Try another one tomorrow to reassure yourself x

Evap or indent

It looks similar to mine a day or two ago (although mine wasn't as clear actually). It's very clearly pink, apparently an evap or indent won't have the colour. Crossing my fingers for you but it definitely looks positive to me.

That’s not faint at all for a frer- definite positive! Congrats! I’ve had many evaps on frer and all of them were squint and hold it up to the window/shine a light through it and you can just about see a line.

@Starsnspikes, have you tested again since? Are yours darker now?
I’m planning on testing again tomorrow morning maybe. Not sure if I should see a difference by then? Or maybe save the test for Sunday.

@HenB Yep, I had positive tests at 12, 13 and 14 dpo. Definitely getting darker each day. Got 5 more FRER to use over the next few days to keep checking

Do you ladies think that a clear blue Digital may be positive now too? I don’t want to take one and be disappointed.

I had a positive digital when my FRER looked similar to yours. I was surprised as I didn't think it'd pick up yet. I reckon it might well work but just be prepared for it to be negative, your hCG doesn't necessarily double every day so it might take a day or two more. You could take a FRER or cheap test first for some reassurance so if the digital is negative at least you know it's still positive (if that makes sense). That's probably too obsessive though, I'm afraid I've succumbed to POAS addiction so maybe don't take my advice!

@Starsnspikes I just went out and bought SO many tests! The lady in Boots probably thought I was crazy.
I just took an early clear blue digital and non digital and both positive!!

@HenB Yaaay so pleased for you! Congratulations :) It's so much more real seeing the words come up on a digital test I think!
I had the same experience buying loads of tests in Sainsbury's the other day, spent about £30 on various types of Clearblue ones, the woman said 'Aww, are you making sure? Bless you'. So embarrassing 😂
