Ovulating when taking morning after pill

I had unprotected sex with my partner on Sunday 25th July and took the morning after pill roughly 26 hours later on the 26th but according to my app I was ovulating from the 21-26th which means I had sex/took MAP on my most fertile days.. At 7DPO still no period which is unusual for me in the past I have come on within 4 days of taking the pill.. I’ve taken tests every few days and they were all negative I’m now 16 dpo and no sign of a period coming but I’m getting cramps/back ache

Hi

Since the morning after pill works by delaying ovulation, if you've already ovulated the morning after pill won't stop you conceiving. But if you have also had negative tests then it could be that it has just messed up your cycle a little? Maybe your period is on its way with the backaches/cramps?

@WJK00 I’ve not taken a test for 4 days and been getting cramps/aches for about a week normally only get them the day before and I’ve never had issues like this when taking the map.. I am 5 days late and starting to panic

@Volcano10 how long did it take you to find out you were expecting?

@Kayla197 go and get a test and take it. It's possible you could be pregnant.

Just test is not worth stressing about it when you could take a test and find out x

I ordered a first response test online which is coming today I just wanted to know if anyone else had been in the same situation x

It's going back a few years so might be a tad off.

Took the morning after pill early January, found out late February. I was also on the patch for a good 9 months at that point so shouldn't have ever been possible. This was early 2019.

@Volcano10 I’m probably just over thinking it but I’ve only ever had this gut feeling once before and I was pregnant.. I’m never normally late even when I’ve took MAP in the past I always come on within the week of taking it never later
