Depo Injection

Hi,
I was due my depo injection 18 days ago, but didn't realise I'd missed it.
They want me to take a pregnancy test before having my next injection. I haven't had a period or anything since it wore off, is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Have you had sex since the depo expired?
If so, then yes there could be a small chance of pregnancy as you would ovulate before a period was due.
Safest to do a pregnancy test tbh

You can go up to 7 days over the 12 weeks but even then they ask questions about when was the last time you had penetrative intercourse. I would just take the test to be sure.

Yeah I'm in a relationship so have had sex as I didn't even realise I was due it. Yeah I've ordered some tests just to make sure. Thankyou

Although it is possible it is highly unlikely so don't worry too much. Worth testing just to be sure, but for most people I know who had it, it took months for their periods to come back, I think it took me a year
