I had a MMC almost exactly a year ago to the day and for a variety of reasons we have only just started TTC again.

Has anyone had any success with the Ava Bracelet? It took me a year to get pregnant last time (although I am 5 stone lighter now and almost out of the obese BMI category so hopefully that will make a big difference).

They're very expensive but I've never actually had a very strong positive ovulation strip test so I'm a bit confused about when I ovulate etc. I just want to do what I can to maximise my chances every month. I'm no spring chicken!

Hello, I looked into the Ava bracelet but wasn’t 100% convinced from what I read about the accuracy of external body monitors. I had also struggled with using cheapy test strips because I couldn’t work out the pattern and so didn’t have any trust that I was ovulating . I am now using clearblue advanced fertility (the pack with 20 tests) and I have found it way less stressful because it clearly tells you when you are at high and peak fertility without having to interpret how dark lines are. It’s not cheap but neither is the bracelet and at least this is monitoring two hormones (oestrogen and LH) and not just your temperature.

Good luck!

Thanks! That seems like a good middle ground option. Smile
