So I plan on having my Mirena coil removed next month never put too much though into it but after some research apparently it can take 9 - 10 months for things to come back to normal before you could conceive , what experiences have you had TTC post coil removal ?

@LizzeyBenett I had my coil out in October and we have been TTC since jan with no luck so far. Not sure if it just hasn't happened yet or whether the coil has had an impact. I had mine in for around 3 years. I'm pretty sure I had regular 28 day cycles before and now mine range between 24 to 29. Again, I'm not putting this purely down to the coil as I'm also now 34 so aware that my age could be impacting. I would recommend you start tracking your cycles etc if you're planning to conceive. When I spoke to my GP, they said usually you can conceive within the first month after coil removalGrin

I had mine out in June and was pregnant in August. Good luck!
