First time TTC, light period concern

Hi all, my husband and I are planning on TTC next month. I am really concerned though because I have a very light period after getting off the pill in May. My doctor says nothing to worry about yet since I'm regular but a light period can indicate other issues. Anyone else experience a light period? I'm 27 and wish I never even went on the pill!

I had very light periods after coming off the pill with very regular cycles. I am now on cycle 5 and had a 'normal' period for the first time this month. I have been ovulating every month though so I don't think the light periods were any problem.

For some people it takes time for things to go back to normal after stopping the pill. I don't think it sounds like anything to worry about yet.

I wouldn't be concerned. When I got my implant removed it took around 4-5 months for my periods to return to 'normal'. Think our bodies sometimes need a while to adjust to the change.
