Pregnancy Tests - CONFUSED !!

I’m due on my period in 2 days time but have taken 4 different pregnancy tests because of my symptoms and the fact I had unprotected sex multiple times on my most fertile days. I have taken 2 clearblue tests which are showing faint but visible BLUE lines, I then did a digital test and it says not pregnant and then I did a pink dye test which says negative also. I’m so confused to whether i’m pregnant or not?! I’m reading so much online about evaporation lines and people not trusting clearblue but then I’m seeing people say evaporation lines are grey and false positives are rare and the line wouldn’t be there unless HCG is in my system. My head is spinning and I want to know .. please someone help me!

There have been lots of false positives and evap lines on the clearblue tests. If you’ve done a frer and there’s no second line I’d say you’ve been victim to these horrid tests. Digitals won’t show a positive yet as they need a higher hcg level.

I'm in similar situation, took clear blue and within 3 mins showed a faint line, thought I was pregnant. Next day took a digital- not pregnant. Then took another CB non digital and it showed negative but then within 10 mins again a faint line. Thus morning took a FR and negative but again witjing 10 mins a faint positive (which to me looks pink not grey). I understand you shouldn't look at test after 5 mins but all 3 tests over 2 days now have faint positives which appeared either immediately or after 10 mins, I dont understand!

I'd wait and do a FRER on the day of your expected period. You could be testing too early, lots of people don't get positive tests until several days after AF is due.

From what I've read, if you have a faint positive within the timeframe it can sometimes get darker as it dries so it'll look more obvious after several minutes - but it's still a legit positive. If you have nothing appear within the timeframe but a line shows up afterwards then it's likely to be an evap line (not positive).

Really the best thing to do is just wait it out and test several days after your missed period...but I say that as someone who has burned through about 10 pregnancy tests in the last 5 days so I'm not one to talk!

I am pregnant just thought I'd share for anyone seeing this thread with similar experience as me! Positive FRER last night and positive clear blue digital this morning I had a missed miscarriage earlier in the year so I am delighted & equally terrified x

@Val0901 how many dpo were you when you got a BFN and then when you got your BFP?
I had lots of pregnancy symptoms like metallic taste and loads of EWCM and been testing using easy home hcg strips and all negative. I'm 13 dpo today and thought I ovulated twice in different times in a cycle but I'm now wondering if it could be positive if I use a different test brand 😐

@Angie887 I never tracked ovulation this month as I was becoming obsessed by it so I know roughly when I ovulate and decided this month to try relax a little with ttc. However I was roughly 10dpo with first test which was a faint positive... then 11dpo done a digital which said not pregnant, then done a CB non digital (same day) and it was negative (however there was a faint line after 20 mins when i looked again but nothing at 3mins. I then done a FRER 12dpo and it was negative at 3 mins but again was very faint line after 15mins so I was very confused by this stage. Late last night at 13dpo I done another FRER and it was a clear positive within 3 mins which I confirmed this morning at 14dpo with CB digital.
I'd try waiting another day or so and try again. I know how hard it is... iv gone through like 6 tests in past 4 days good luck!

I think you shouldn't be having so many tests on top of each other.....

It can be difficult if you're maybe struggling with fertility, but the best thing you can do is wait a couple of days before redoing the test. If you're testing too early maybe your hormone levels are not enough to give you a proper reading
