Help! Ovulation / mc question

I had a mc a couple of weeks ago. Confirmed by scan last Wed that there are no retained products or signs of pregnancy. Told to wait for next period before ttc in order to correctly date the pregnancy. However, I’m pretty sure I’m ovulating now. I had some VERY light bleeding a week ago but not a period.

Is it possible to be ovulating now? (I’m just trying to get my head around what’s happening, not in a rush to ttc).

Firstly - so sorry for your loss, i had one a few years back and understand your pain.
Its very possible yes, as soon as your uterus is 'empty' it kicks back into action again. A few weeks would sound about right to start ovulation again. Your body tends to carry on quicker then your mind gets around it xx

Sorry for your loss, how far gone were you when you had a mc?
I had a chemical which started on 7th July; but ovulated 9 days later. Obviously all bodies are different. After previous miscarriages where I’ve been between 6-8 weeks it’s taken longer to ovulate

Thank you! Only 7 weeks. It feels bizarre not knowing what’s going on. I have the most regular cycles in the world!

I know it's not as far on, however, I had a chemical pregnancy at 4 weeks (3 weeks ago) and started trying straight away. I got a leak on CD11 and currently 7dpo. Anxious and eager!

I did read that it's up to you when you want to start trying again (of course it can be different for everyone on when it's safe etc). If you are mentally ready then I don't see why not.
