Came off the mini pill 30 days ago. No period yet. I started doing daily ovulation tests about 8 days later. I've had a few faint lines here and there. Yesterday and the day before I got my strongest lines yet but still not as strong as the control line. Today nothing. Really sore boobs and negative pregnancy test.

What is going on?? Could those strong ish lines mean I ovulated?

Also do you test first thing or later in the day? I've read conflicting articles. I'm not expecting to get pregnant straight away but I'm just confused about these ovulation tests

Hello @salviapages Congrats on your decision to come off the pill! Its super normal for you first withdrawal bleed/period to take a little bit of time to turn up once you stopped taking the pill, and you may not ovulate before your withdrawal bleed turns up.

Sounds like your OPK lines were getting darker which indicates a surge in luteinizing hormone... which is the hormone that stimulates ovulation, so hopefully something is happening. Its possible you missed your peak (easily done) or that you haven't peaked yet so keep testing. I would test daily with 2nd morning urine, and when the lines get darker start testing several times a day, as you peak might happen later in the day.
