TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related but can you beat breaking a guy’s banjo in a BJ or whilst DTD?! 🤞🏻🙌🏻

And if you see mention of minster's blog then blame the ladies on the thread but @minster2012 needs to carry on with it...although has a lot on her plate at the moment! #shamelessplug

minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens

If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

@paintfairy honestly no idea. I'll look at stats, reviews (incl on MN as those can be quite candid), ease of getting there I guess? There's a create not far from me that I used to fancy but now I know my AMH is fine I don't think I'd want to risk it with natural/mild ivf.

paintfairy · 06/08/2021 18:45

@Juno231 I still dunno what my AMH is. Hilariously. Guessing someone might check? But yeah it's a difficult one! I've possibly PM'd you. If it worked....

Dollybird89 · 06/08/2021 20:02

Hii everyone X what a few days I've had, caring for your parent really does take it out on you, even if it's not physical care. With his dementia it's causing him to forget the shit situation he's in and wants everything to stay the same (with the bitch of a carer who invited her druggy daughter to stay and 9month granddaughter who she now has to care for) but I've got social services in and he has 2 options, 1. Have carers come 4 times a day and the remainder he's on his own or 2. Care home. ... Best option is care home and 90% of the time he agrees but the day I had social out he was in a grumpy mood and decided he wants to stay at home. So still trying to convince him to go care home, had 9 calls off him today asking when he can go.. which is good. His current carer has pissed me off too as for the last 12 months Ive been saying he now needs more care and would be better in a home and she's constantly been against it and talking him out of it. Now it's come to where she has other priorities... The care home is what he needs!! She winds me up.. plus she got pissed when I stated that all of this was her daughter's fault because of her being on drugs and social Demanding her mum looks after her daughter so can't 100% look after my dad anymore. Who else's fault is it???? Then I've got the emotional factor that it's breaks my heart putting in him a care home when he's only 56 and all the other residents are in their 80's and not much communication. If I left him where he is with carers he's gonna be lonely and sink back into depression. ...waiting to hear back from social Tues then action stations I guess as want it done asap to get him away from the toxic people. No wonder I can't conceive when I'm so stressed! OH has been amazing and so supportive and had the most epic sex and shenanigans last night.... Resulting in a stiff neck today 🤣 and got extra 🍆 this morning!!! Had progesterone bloods done today and finally got registered for checking results online 😁. Cd30 had bit of cramps yesterday but af is a mystery game ATM. Sorry for such a large post off topic.. just needed to rant and get it all out . You ladies are amazing and have been fantastic support I'd be lost without you all so thank you!! Big hugs to everyone!!

Sunbird24 · 06/08/2021 20:23

@Dollybird89 that sounds really tough for you, glad OH is so supportive, in all the ways! 😉

Franklydear · 06/08/2021 20:35

@Dollybird89 never mind his age, the care home is the safest option and what he needs, also means you can relax more and your visits, more of them, would be about visiting and not sorting things out, I come from a culture where putting parents in a care home is a mortal sin, but this is a good option, get it done and then enjoy the rest of his many years, you're doing the right thing

Lexber · 06/08/2021 20:56

@Dollybird89 it's such a difficult decision but I think you are so right with the care home especially with his dementia. I worked in care and the home was mainly dementia and we had a younger lady in her 50s and she loved the place and the activities and altho mentally she struggled with communication and understanding because of her younger age she was so involved in activities and when I did one to one with her she really came out of herself: we chose to put my nana into care last year before she passed away because she was lonely at home. She had a massive family who visited regular, and carers 4 times a day but it isn't the same. I'm a care home there is ALWAYS someone there for company and I could see such a wonderful change in her once she moved xxx

paintfairy · 06/08/2021 22:07

@Dollybird89 I'm all for keeping people in their own homes where possible. With help. But dementia is very difficult and can be dangerous. Only you know when it's got to the point of being unmanageable at home, but age isn't really a factor? It would be good if there were other dementia patients that were not ancient, but I'm sure he'll find people to talk to? And he'll be safe.

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 06/08/2021 23:29

Hello lovely ladies,

Taking my seat on this new bus 🚌 Sorry I've been rubbish with the last thread, will try and keep up to date with this ride 😂🤞🏻

Cycle 2 here, currently CD14... Have finally started to see some darker LH sticks, so hoping I'll OV in the next couple of days 🙏🏻 Last month was our first proper month off the pill and it lasted a gruelling 39 days 🤦🏻‍♀️ Didn't ovulate until day 26.... 😩 So this cycle is looking more promising and will hopefully be shorter (If not the one) 🤞🏻

Baby dust to you all 🥰

Franklydear · 07/08/2021 08:09

Well, I had about 30 hours of spotting, that must have been af, I’ll do a test next weekend to be sure but damm, this isn’t supposed to work that way
Where’s everybody?
We are going away tomorrow for a few days

Lexber · 07/08/2021 08:23

@Franklydear it's so confusing isn't it!!
I've had the most tiniest of spotting, like literally woken to a spike on my liner.. nothing when wiping! I spotted more last month! After my BFP for days before bleed?!? I give up lol

feliznavidad2 · 07/08/2021 08:25

Sorry to hear that @Franklydear - is heavy spotting your norm or? Have a lovely time away; hope the weather is kind to you.

5dpo here (I think, if my pathetic LH peak was actually ovulation) and no spotting so far so we're doing better than last month - every cloud.

We're not upto much this weekend, DS has got a bday party to go to this afternoon, going to ask DS if he'd like pancakes for breakfast as despite trying to lose weight, it is Saturday innit. And pancakes. 🥞 😋

Kirky658 · 07/08/2021 08:31

@franklydear have a great trip away
@dollybird89 oh hun that's such a hard decision!

Had the worst sleep ever last night. I had period type pains for a good 3 hours or so to the point I almost woke DH up as I thought I could be in labour... I managed to get back to sleep for another 2 hours then up again and again... So now I'm up watching crappy telly with the dog. Going to our neighbours' wedding reception this afternoon and really don't feel like it tbh 😔

Lexber · 07/08/2021 08:32

Morning @feliznavidad2 I'm trying to lose weight too and weekends are my downfall... 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

Caved and tested and BFN as expected tbh
Now I just need AF to hurry up, had cramping last night I had to take a hot water bottle to bed, expecting to wake to a murder scene and nothing?! Hurry up AF so we can move into cycle 5💔

Bestie is 25 week today's
SIL had baby a couple days ago
Friend had their baby 9 days ago

We are surrounded by babies, I desperately want to be able to give that joy to OH

feliznavidad2 · 07/08/2021 08:39

How many weeks are you @Kirky658 ?

@Lexber it's so hard when it's like this with everyone having babies at the same time. Especially when that's what you really want. Be kind to yourself, it's ok to acknowledge that it's a bit shit. Hope AF turns up sharpish so you can crack on with your next cycle. X

Franklydear · 07/08/2021 08:43

@Lexber is like Dante’s ring of the inferno, right?
@feliznavidad2 I had this once before, but the spotting was lighter and lasted 8 days, dh is making a joke that is the august curse, funny isn’t he?, not the norm, I normally have spotting for a day, but not always and then af can last 2-4 days , it doesn’t help that I am nearly 44 and terrified that menopause will come before baby, my mum says I am too young

Clairey844 · 07/08/2021 08:48

Hey all, sorry for the radio silence, the bump that has been following this bus is now here... baby Lennie was born last week, 9lb 10oz so been mega busy but all is well.

I will do my best to catch up soon, saw from the intro to the bus July was a bit sparse for bfps so hopefully August is going to be lots of people's month 😍😍

Franklydear · 07/08/2021 08:49

@Clairey844 congrats! Glad everything is well! What good news!

Lexber · 07/08/2021 08:51

@feliznavidad2 I just want it to hurry up and come and go if it's coming so we can crack on!

The strange thing is when we started discussing this last year we weren't going to start trying until July/Aug so baby April/May next year and we ended up starting early as I had my coil out due to it making me ill
It's oh birthday in May so who knows if we get caught next cycle he will get a birthday present lol

@Franklydear that's my worry, I'm only 35 BUT we have early menopause in my family... my mum was 42/43 and my sister just turned 40 is in early menopause! It's scary and for most women years away! For me it's ticking down already 😞

Lexber · 07/08/2021 08:51

Congratulations @Clairey844 !! 🎉❤️

Kirky658 · 07/08/2021 08:55

@clairey844 congrats!!!! Cute name 😍
@lexber sorry about BFN babe 😢
@feliznavidad2 I'm 34+3 so early, I'm wondering if it's braxton hicks tbh

feliznavidad2 · 07/08/2021 09:00

@Kirky658 bless you, hope you feel more comfy soon. I got BH from about 29 weeks and they scared the life out of me. 😬

bez91 · 07/08/2021 09:03

Sounds good @Franklydear where you off to? That's strange with the spotting 😂 we're off to a big family get together today. We've not all been together for 2 years so I can't wait, staying down there with family. No calorie counting today!

Sorry on the BFN @Lexber 💕
Congratulations @Clairey844 🥳
Hope you're more comfortable soon @Kirky658 I never got braxton hicks and when I thought it did it was actually labour 😆

blackcurrantqueen · 07/08/2021 09:11

Congratulations @Clairey844 💐💕

@Lexber shitter about the bfn, I've been keeping an eye out for you and sending positive vibes, next month sounds like it's yours to me!

@Franklydear that is so frustrating!! where are you going away? Have a lovely time xxx

Franklydear · 07/08/2021 09:14

@bez91 were going to Plymouth, hoping for a bit of sun, but have lots of activities planned, we are not all day in the bleach people
Spotting estrange, there wasn’t much blood at all, most of the time didn’t even bother with a panty liner, boobs a bit down but still sore, tummy still tight, still a bit nauseous, who wants to be my Virgil?, I’ll leave it for a week and then test, expecting a negative, but I just want to be sure

Franklydear · 07/08/2021 09:14

@blackcurrantqueen 🥰
