TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related but can you beat breaking a guy’s banjo in a BJ or whilst DTD?! 🤞🏻🙌🏻

@Lexber @bez91i am feeling a bit better, ds had the decency of not waking up till now, dh woke me up at 5 but got back to sleep luckily, he didn’t ask this morning... we’ll have to have a talk, I know I went too dark, but the check of telling me what my body is doing and my view not counting, made me explode, we’ve been married 22 years we had worst , don’t worry this isn’t ltb territory
The spotting restarted this morning and boobs have gone done quite a bit, nothing on pad yet so utterly confused but don’t expect pregnancy, if by next weekend nothing significant happen, I’ll test for assurance

@lexber yes full flow. @Laurenxx94 the hospital told me after 6pm they counted the following day as cd1. I never knew that until then.
@bez91 one of the two ivf clinics here do allow you in for samples so that might sway it for us! In my mind they should be doing everything they can to ease stress. Its not just about numbers. I think I push him away so I don't help matters. 🤦‍♀️
@Franklydear I'm glad you feel a little better today.

I'm still angry. 🤣 I had today booked off work for an appointment and they cancelled me this morning. Yeah thanks. Due to a covid app ping. Which is annoying because I would bet a lot of money on there being no issue.

Hi girls, thanks foer welcoming me and thanks for all the lovely messages yesterday was a tough day but i made it through, so weve had a chat and made a change to our ttc journey and decided not to track ovulation this month, just dtd alot to hopefully cover, i have the wedding to focus on ( 3 weeks on sunday) and hoping a more relaxed approach will help our chances, wish us luck and good luck to all xxxxxxxxxxx

@Kirky658 I have had them checked before (assuming they do them on a full blood count) and everything came back ok. Periods aren't particularly heavy so it's strange.

@paintfairy they absolutely should be trying to minimise stress. Is the clinic nhs or private? The private clinic we used for initial fertility investigations I was surprised how accommodating they were especially with covid.

@LeeTTCRainbow breaks from tracking can help. I decide something different each month 😆

Just quietly taking a seat to follow the journeys, still have a catch up every few days and hoping to see a new bfp every time I log on, I'm not just sprinking baby dust on you all I'm firing it from a confetti cannon so that you're all covered in it 🎉

@bez91 if your periods are really heavy ask your doc for tranexamic acid, it's a game changer if you suffer heavy periods!

@Franklydear 🤣 that's the kind of thing that comes out of my mouth before I can stop it. My dh gets worried sometimes. 🤪 I mean- if she had said something more casual like aren't they a handful at that age in a sympathetic way, then fine. But clearly this was not that.
@bez91 no, the nhs don't do ivf here. So you get a choice of private clinics. There's about 10, but only 2 are realistic contenders. Care is the one still not allowing samples to be done in the clinic.

@paintfairy me too, husband tries to intercept cfs, even a control your child would get a better response, but don’t you have more....? funny how that is never directed to the father too

Bit on pad now so I’ll call this cd1, new rule no excitement before cd 30, I’ll use the next cycle to get back to exercising, who wants to keep tabs on me?

She is a legend @Franklydear and I have to admit caught at the right time I have an answer for everything and always in a very polite way which adds to it and pisses people off more 🤣🤣

We once went out as a group on a night out to see a band play and OH went out back with friends to the smoking area (he has a cheeky one when drunk but tried to not do in front of me as a non smoker and thinks he does a good job of it .. bless him!) and way I walked out to find him after nipping to the loo to find him stood on a bit of a balcony chatting away to his friends and a woman in front trying to put her hand through the bars to grab his 🍆, which he kept moving to avoid and in her disgust she started calling him gay, and saying he must be gay when he moved -I'm assuming other men had liked it before or she assumed he would want a stranger stroking his love length?!
I stood watching for a second just to check what I had seen was right before stepping in (he wasn't aware I was there at this point) and when she called him gay again I politely stepped forward looked her in the eyes and said I'm the sweetest voice possible "oh sweetheart he REALLY isn't gay, well, I'm his girlfriend and trust me, he wasn't gay when he was with me this morning.." and gave her the sweetest smile... I've never seen anyone move so quickly 🤣🤣 everyone just looked at me and when she had gone started laughing - OH stood there apologetic and I was like, I saw everything you did nothing wrong other than be too nice trying to just ignore her and not tell her to fuck off 🤣🤣🤣

On other notes feeling massively crampy and sure AF is on her way. Pinky tinged when wiping on loo so just waiting...

@Lexber that’s brilliant, I have to keep it polite at work but you always get the odd racist, this old lady was making out she couldn’t understand me at all, being clearly not native English, so I. Started. Talking. To. Her. Very. Slowly, when she ask me why was I talking like that I told her I thought she meant she was hard of hearing and I was trying to make it easier for her, the rest of the transaction was completed in normal talking by both of us, i did another one to bossboy, he had made a nasty decision, not affecting me directly but he was bragging about how he got away with it, he gives silly answers normally, this day was that his assistant made him do it, he was present, so I said I didn’t know said assistant could make him do things cos I am sure I can get to agreements with him then, assistant came in to have a joke and the bragging stop, I never heard that excuse again

On the way home from holiday now. Was nice but feel quite peopled out and now I just want to sit on my sofa and binge watch love island with DH!

I'm just so used to reporting on my bodily fluids that now that they're gone, I don't know what to write about! I did have one glob of spotting, then another glob of yellow goo, after which I was convinced im having a MC (based on nothing, really), then sort of got my 💩 together and am just waiting for 12 week scan next Friday (the 13th...)

@vil10 don't think of it was a waste of money - buying a house is a huge commitment and if renting allows you to make the perfect choice then it's totally worth it☺️

@Juno231 no, it wasn't ttc related. We need to pick a bloody clinic before we can do that. And it's hard! Thing is- you get one shot so you need to make the right choice? Paying or not. I think if I could go look round I'd get a feel and know, but because of covid you can't. They do online things but they are more just selling presentations. We did one last night (the other is next week) but it didn't really help much? Plus that one has several clinics so it wasn't even the people from the actual clinic doing it, if you get me? The one next week will be mind.
Do you have a choice of clinics? How are you deciding?
