TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

I've been quiet as X still not well, he's getting over his cold but slowly, just sleeping and whinging 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️and so DH & I taking it in turns to look after him & get house stuff done as we hope to exchange this week so I'm on moving stuff from old house across (done 3 car loads so far) and he's on finishing outside jobs here when we can in the midst of being ill toddler locked so it's a bit full on tbh

I'm in need of alcohol and takeaway. I'm def getting one tonight. Only had one wine last night as was sorting fete stuff in old village and o couldn't get away til 9.30 😫

Lovely news @blackcurrantqueen! We were convinced we were having a girl going by the nub and skull theory on the 12 week scan but just had my 20 week scan on Thursday and it's a definite boy 😅 saw the evidence close up! I will never bother with trying that to guess again haha

@polkadotpixie I really hope it's not a chemical, I've been there twice and it really sucks 💕 fingers crossed it will get stronger and it's just a bit too early still. Everyone's hCG levels do vary.

@Vil10 aww it sounds like your friend is really clueless as to how tough fertility struggles are! I definitely wouldn't be sending scan photos to anyone I know who's trying and not pregnant yet unless they asked specifically to see the scan photo. When I shared the news with my friends (none have kids yet) I never shared the scan photos and was very cautious with how I shared the news incase they were quietly struggling. They all seemed upbeat so I think they haven't started trying yet. I made sure to tell them it took me 16 months and wasn't easy so they are aware it might not be quick when the time comes.

Anyone who's gone through a chemical...I'm meant to be going to the seaside tomorrow with DH and DS but I'm scared in case I start bleeding heavily 100 miles from home...will it just be like a normal period at 4w or worse? I've never had one before and don't know what to expect

@polkadotpixie my latest MC was a CP.
IF it's a CP bleeding might be very slightly heavier than a period but not significantly, mine was a bit clotty for the first day but apart from that quite like a normal period

Oh @polkadotpixie hugs x I'm not on much these days but saw your bfp and now so sorry to see your more recent tests are making you anxious. 11dpo one was so strong too. I can't answer your question but unfortunately many here will be able to so I'm sure someone will be along with some practical information soon. I hope it isn't a chemical. I know you were struggling recently, this is such a rollercoaster x

@polkadotpixie mines felt pretty similar to my usual periods. I was maybe a little sorer than usual with some little clot bits but I was able to continue with my daily tasks (around the tears 😢)

@polkadotpixie me too, physically ok, very I'll one night, but very tearful, if this cycle was a chemical, spotting for many days, but I was out all day away from home, and ok if only tired

@minster2012 can't decide what would be harder work while moving/doing up houses an ill needy toddler or one full of beans getting into everything 🤔 both take up a lot of time and you most definitely sound like you deserve a takeaway and alcohol tonight! I've been keeping up with my walking, min 5miles a day (even on the day of the wedding I got up extra early to get it in). Can't say I've been doing too well on the diet front tho, I was doing okish till this past week and I've completely derailed and put on all the weight I'd worked off over the summer 🙈

@polkadotpixie really hoping its just early days fluctuation in hormones and that your next test will be stronger, but to answer you question about CPs unfortunately I've had many so can answer your question from my experiences. Firstly looking at your tests if it is a CP I don't think bleeding would necessarily start tomorrow, I've usually found the tests have gotten a lot lighter than your most recent one then faded to nothing at all before bleeding has commenced so I'd say you may still have another few days (but again it could be different for everyone so def wear a pad on your beach trip just to be on the safe side!). As for the actual bleeding no two have been the same, some times I've started bleeding the day after the test goes blank and it has been very heavy, clotty and mega sore cramps (but nothing the highest absorbancy tampon coupled with pad couldn't handle so you should be ok on your beach trip even if worst case just take a stash to change frequently), other times the first day has started off with a bit of spotting or just like a normal period and it's been day 2 that's been the worst. I've found with most of my CPs that they lasted a lot longer than my normal period so if you're away for a few days just take enough tampons/pads with you. So as long as you're prepared, a CP this early on shouldn't really spoil your trip physically, emotionally however it may be hard tho so be kind to yourself. However as I said really hoping its not the case for you and hope you get a kickass line on your next test but hope the info has helped to ease your trip worries just incase.

@Manifestingbaby I think I'm doing a lot better. I've had a lot of anxiety the last couple of weeks as just had no reassurance everything's still okay but I had my antenatal appointment and my midwife found the heartbeat with the Doppler and I heard it kicking and moving too. Feel like I can relax again now but will be glad when I can start feeling kicks etc. How are you doing?

No news my end obv, have decided to temp again from sept, enjoying not thinking about ANYTHING recently - gardening leave is amazing!

I don't know what to think any more. My temp dropped again this morning but I think today's FRER is sliiightly darker than yesterday's? I just feel like it should be a lot darker than this by 14dpo

I'm more scared of ectopic than anything tbh

@polkadotpixie I think that's a pretty decent line for 14dpo, remember some people don't even get a positive until +14dpo. I know it's hard but try to enjoy your day at the seaside.

Abruptly awoken again this morning. The last 3 Sunday's the whole area seems to have a power surge between 5-6am. Every house alarm in the area goes off, wakes everyone up, DD screams because her lights have flickered and the bloody heating randomly comes on 🤦🏼‍♀️ always when it's my turn for a lie in 😆

@polkadotpixie that looks like a pretty good line to me lovely. Don't give up just yet🥰 on the bleeding when I had my CP back in may last year mine was around 6-7 weeks and it was still only the same amount as my period so

I got the right amount of tipsy last night which was needed and DH & I watched "burlesque" the film which was the right amount of cheese, we ate some cheese. Shared a bottle of red & it was lovely. It's been a long time coming
