TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

@Vil10 oh your poor friend, that's awful 😣 well on the getting pissed thing, maybe a yes if your pregnant hormonal friend won't mind although 10:30 is early by my standards (12 rule 😉). Alcohol and baby showers is always awkward. I always take a cheeky few even if it's a non alcoholic event. Good luck! You got this 💪🏼

Lost my voice, it's been croaky over the week but today I can barely talk and have visits all day. I'm going to have to call into office to get someone to make a couple of phone calls for me 😆

@bez91 awful isn't it, I was with her last night and I just didn't know what to say, and she spoke about it so bravely, didn't cry and I just don't know how she does it, she's stronger than I ever would be! Hahaha yeah I'll definitely push it back to 12 when everyone starts arriving, she definitely won't mind, I think she'd be in favour of it!

@DKDK123 That sounds shit. I have to listen to my sister banging on constantly about her pregnancy and was the same last time when I was struggling to conceive, makes you want to have a public tantrum and tell everyone to fuck off (...or maybe that's just me! 😂)

Thanks everyone for the support yesterday, I'm feeling better today. I didn't actually stop my antidepressants for TTC, I was on Sertraline specifically because it's the safest during pregnancy but I was having horrendous night sweats and putting on weight. I might have to reconsider if my mood doesn't improve though

I'm 11dpo and AF is due today. My RHR has dropped a bit but my temp went up 😳 I feel a bit nauseous and hot but that didn't kick in until much later with DS so probably doesn't mean anything! I'm still having AF pains too and no real tender boobs so who knows. I considered testing this morning but bottled it, might test this evening if AF doesn't show and I'm feeling brave, just don't want to see that BFN looking back at me

Don’t have anyone else to share this with but I need to put it out into the world somehow!
I dreamed about my babies this morning, hard to describe but they were a boy and a girl, both tiny but the girl the smaller of the two. They were swaddled separately but tucked together in a fish tank (with rocks & weeds and a bit of water in the bottom!🤷🏻‍♀️) I was stroking their faces and thinking I really needed to take a photo to send to my parents as they don’t even know I’m pregnant. Was going to say “you wait 20 years for a grandchild and 2 come along at once…”

Test negative, just my hormones playing up, I am going to take a little break from ttc and mumsnet, will be back soon

@polkadotpixie are there other TTC-safe options? I don't know a lot about anti depressants other than it's a bit trial and error to find the one that works for you. Hoping for no AF today and a BFP

@feliznavidad2 I spot too. Usually for 3 days best case scenario. Often at least 5. And sometimes for 2 whole weeks! Pisses me off. They've found nothing wrong and my progesterone tests have always been ok. I'm not sure that helps. 🤣 Clearly it's not right and it'll be interesting to see if the ivf clinic find a reason. Progesterone pessaries do stop it though.

@Vil10 oh I forgot to respond to you. Absolutely shit about your friend. Terrible timing too! I'm sure the baby shower will be fine. And your friend will be very grateful!

@Franklydear sorry your hormones aren’t playing ball. It’s so maddening not knowing what’s going on; TTC is hard at the best of times but when your body starts throwing curve balls it’s just awful.

How awful are the evaporation lines on the Clearblue tests!? I took a test last night after having lightening balloon boobs and it was a stark BFN. Left it on the side over night (is that really gross?!? 😅) and it’s got a fully lovely blue line this morning. Here’s what you could have had!! Brutal.

@Somatronic so painful! They mean well but my god I wanted to throttle my mum when she said that (or when anyone said it), she only stopped once I said look there's problems and we'll be getting interventions so no amount of relaxing will help anything. It did the trick!

@Franklydear I’m so sorry, that’s so frustrating. You had to do the test to be sure though. I hope the break helps.

@becarefuloutthere thanks for the advice. She knows I have PCOS and that I'm on meds for that, and that from next cycle onwards I'll be on even more meds for that, but she keeps on telling me to relax. Every single time the topic comes up.

Also the bank decided to cancel my debit cards for no reason whatsoever today and they didn't bother telling me. I won't have new ones until the end of next week. So annoying! I'm going to have to try to withdraw money manually at the bank tomorrow like it's the flipping 1980s. I hope people still work in banks!

@Minster2012 walking going well and has been very therapeutic. I've hit my 5mile target every day and I'm 50% of the way there so on track to finish in October.

So back from the beach, X kinda crashed at around 2.30pm just becoming a sleepy limpet so he's clearly not running on usual full mania mode. But enjoyed by all though. He hasn't got a temp so think a cold bug as his nose is streaming

Right also wtf at this. It's blue recycling day today. We have 2 blue bins. I put them out last night where I was shown by next door, where only one house next door also puts theirs. We come back from the beach & ours are gone. Not brought inside to our drive by a next door neighbour (that's the logical thought), nope, they are nowhere on our property. And we can't see them on next doors driveway. Our bins have been nabbed or kidnapped or moved "for safe keeping" (totally unnecessary as we got back at 5pm) it's messing with our heads!! What?! The irony being j thought to myself the other day "I must get distinguishing features for our bin so they don't get mixed up"

11dpo, cycle 4 and I'm shocked more than anything to be honest...it took us a full year last time plus I'm 37 now, have Endo and low AMH so I never dared believe it would actually happen

Tonight I am dusting my bike down, got to take the car in tomorrow and need to bike 5 miles home ,haven't been on a bike for a longgggg time 🤦🏼‍♀️

One set of our neighbours is a retired couple and I think they genuinely sit and wait for the bins as you can't leave them out longer than the minute they've been emptied. I'm not complaining though as they always put ours away too @Minster2012!

I am a very ocasional bike rider @bez91 and tend to forget how to use my gears between uses which is always stressful!

I've started on the main bathroom and I am questioning my sanity as to why I considered doing such a thing!! Wanted it done by the weekend but jobs stacking up before friends arrive after lunch on Saturday so not sure if it'll be possible!

@becarefuloutthere no - I still haven't sent my paperwork off. I can't decide on clinics! We watched a webinar last week and one was tonight. I'm not sure I'm still any the wiser, I'm stuck between 2. But it won't take long once I've sorted that.
