TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related but can you beat breaking a guy’s banjo in a BJ or whilst DTD?! 🤞🏻🙌🏻

Well X isn't feeling well here which isn't ideal (he actually WANTED to go to bed early despite his idol DH not being here to read a story) as we've actually got a family day with lovely Neighbours at the beach tomorrow, I'm also knackered and DH always is so alllll a bit mehhhhh really

Last testing 7 days ago, I say very faint line on certain light, DH says negative ( he only saw pictures, I torn the bloody thing apart but didn't help me)

@paintfairy absolutely. Especially if they are my week long migraines from hell. I'm dreading it but I have to do it obviously. If I don't ever get pregnant after all I've suffered I'll be so cross!

@Kirky658 congratulations on the arrival of baby Alice. I hope she isn't in the NICU for very long and that you are doing OK.

@Bookbug92 got a txt from GP today when messaged to ask re. Blood results... first message said 'all within normal range' and the second straight after read 'would discuss with Dr blah blah once you've had the ultrasound' 🙄 now the silly suspicious bit of me has decided there must be something wrong - I'm hoping not of course.

Not helped by the fact I'm spotting (a-bloody-gain) and it's still six days until AF is due. 😡

@feliznavidad2 I hate spotting with a passion, it doesn't necessarily mean bad, my idiotic ent specialist ends all letters like that, helpful

When is your ultrasound booked for @feliznavidad2? I wish everything wasn't so secretive and doctors would just be straight with you! Can you see your blood results in an app? I've also started spotting at 10dpo 😔 I always spot before af puts in an appearance so I'm counting myself out this month. I literally feel we did everything we could this month (especially as post hycosy!) so feeling very disheartened. It's also 18 months since we started ttc so feels like a bit of a (shitty) milestone.

@Bookbug92 I haven't got a date yet - rang the hospital to chase it the other day and they said it hasn't been allocated a date yet. 🤷‍♀️ Will wait and see for now. I did look a little into a private ultrasound but figure I'm better saving my money for if I actually need it in the future for TTC related.... costs. No, my GP doesn't show your bloods in the app unfortunately. 😔

Wading in to agree another test is in order @Franklydear if it's still negative then most likely a weird period but you need to be sure.

@feliznavidad2 they probably just want to have one conversation with you so have all the facts first. Don't be suspicious.

The good thing about being unable to sleep is that, when I eventually do, hopefully I’ll sleep a good few hours and be ok to test rather than wake up every half hour and try to hold wee for as long as possible, that never works for me somehow

Sorry to just barge back onto the bus but I need a little venting space because I'm having a wobble and know you ladies will understand. I've actually been doing really well this month with my head not in the ttc game and thought we'd turned a corner, till I went to a friends wedding today. I knew there'd be pregnant people there, I knew there'd be people there who I hadn't seen seen for a while and would get the 'so when are you having #2?' questions and had mentaly prepared for it. What I hadn't prepared for was the fact the tables at dinner were rectangular instead of round so everyone wad seated across from their partner not beside, so who was I sitting beside......sandwiched between 2 heavily pregnant friends talking about doing up the nursery, choosing names etc yip one sitting right at each side of me. I didnt want to draw attention to myself by asking to swap places with someone so just sat and smiled on the outside, listened to their pregnancy chat while crying on the inside. 😭 Feel like I'm all the way back to square one again when I was doing so well accepting the no baby! I just needed somewhere to vent as I've been tossing and turning unable to sleep and knew you ladies 100% understand.

@paintfairy I know bless her I think she was cozy inside! She has some fluid on her chest now though so there monitoring that.

She was off oxygen last night so we had some skin to skin and the midwife helped me to express some colostrum. So hopefully she will be back with DH and I soon. Xx

@becarefuloutthere I know it's not the outcome you wanted but at least you heard the heart beat, 🤞🏼 little bean can be seen next week!x

Well does everyone remember my friend who took a while to get pregnant and I did them the hamper and I mentioned the other week that I'd got her a baby shower present? Well the shower is on Saturday and her best friend (also a friend of mine) was organising and running it all, anyway this friend is going through her third miscarriage, which is just unimaginable I'm so devastated for them, they deserve the world and it's awful to watch them go through this again, she's having the last scan before she's given the tablet on Friday so obviously can't make the shower, so I've been given everything to set up and run the shower, I mean I've only ever ran a baby shower over zoom last year in lockdown, so is the answer to just get pissed at 10:30 whilst setting up and then it'll go smoothly??

X seems better today after the biggest sleep in the world, DH & I had some bunny vibrator fun 🤣😂and both of us fell asleep at 9.30 too. Ahhh bliss 😉
