TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related but can you beat breaking a guy’s banjo in a BJ or whilst DTD?! 🤞🏻🙌🏻

And if you see mention of minster's blog then blame the ladies on the thread but @minster2012 needs to carry on with it...although has a lot on her plate at the moment! #shamelessplug

minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens

@Franklydear @Juno231
Thanks.
I'm 19dpo and still no AF this morning.
After a faint positive result last night, test this morning after 3 mins was negative, after 10 it was very very faint. I'm sure I am, all the symptoms but I'm worried something is wrong, has anyone else had this? X

Juno231 · 11/08/2021 08:02

@walkychalky if you're 19dpo and having faint tests I'm afraid you're most likely having a CP? I'm really sorry x

Minster2012 · 11/08/2021 08:22

@Kirky658 rather extreme way to not work that last week 🤣🤞🏻good luck for a good birth

@walkychalky um afraid I'm with @Juno231 on this one that it's likely a chemical pregnancy & AF will show at some point, really sorry it's all crap

@Juno231 what one ovary smaller than the other?? Hmmm thanks for letting you know!!

@larrythelizard what's on the gardening agenda today?!

@Bookbug92 that's great for ovulation whoop whoop 🤞🏻🤞🏻a relief I'm sure

@Vil10 I bet the house looked amazing

Well my knee is freeing up a bit so I'm hoping I've not actually torn it just pulled badly, I was able to rest it a fair bit yesterday so that's good.

CD34 here, starting to feel a bit crampy so gonna carry the supplies around

becarefuloutthere · 11/08/2021 09:14

@Kirky658 ah honey! I'm glad you're being well looked after, best of luck 🤞🏾
@Juno231 ah yeah that is a while away yet!
@Minster2012 good news on the knee lovely ☺️ hope AF stays away from you!!

paintfairy · 11/08/2021 09:19

@Minster2012 just don't do too much on it too soon!
@Kirky658 excellent news about the BP. And how exciting! We'll all await the update to say she's arrived! 😁
@Juno231 probably suits me better really. 🤣 I'm generally less angry (I think the trigger shot sent me over the edge). I was actually raging at everything. I can't say I'm thrilled though as I was cleaning dog sick up at 2am and then I couldn't get back to sleep! I also had a migraine last night at tea time - reckon its the higher progesterone, so bad sleep was not required!
I so do not want to do ivf. 🙈

polkadotpixie · 11/08/2021 09:37

@Sunbird24 Sorry to hear your news, keeping everything crossed for good news for your second embryo next week

@Somatronic The clinic 'lost' my husband's first semen sample when we were TTC DS, I always thought maybe they dropped it! Glad your DH's turned up!

@Kirky658 Sorry to hear you have pre-eclampsia, you're in the best place though and get to meet your baby soon. Good luck with the induction. I was induced with DS and I 100% recommend the epidural, it was such a relief

I'm 10dpo today, temp is still high (although dropped slightly this morning) and RHR is the highest it's been. I've been feeling slightly nauseous the last few days but boobs have stopped hurting and definite pre-AF cramps and night sweats so I think we'll be going onto cycle 5 tomorrow Sad

I'd really convinced myself it was going to be easier this time round as I've had a child already and I thought my body would know what to do but it's not looking great so far. I know it sounds stupid as it's only been 4 cycles but I really feel like I'm letting my DS down because he keeps asking for a baby sister and I can't give him one. Sorry for the pity party, I just feel very low and having come off my antidepressants probably isn't helping

I think I'm going to contact a clinic as soon as we hit 6 months and get the ball rolling with tests and probably an HSG as I got pregnant with DS immediately after I had one after 11 cycles of no hint of a BFP. If I was 10 or even 5 years younger I wouldn't be in such a rush but given my age and low AMH, I don't feel I have time to waste

polkadotpixie · 11/08/2021 09:38

Forgot to add my chart for the charters amongst us!

TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)
2020mission · 11/08/2021 09:57

Aww @Kirky658 awake at 4am with husband zonked out 😅 glad to hear the BP is down a bit. Hope you're getting on ok having been induced already! Obviously a shock at 36 weeks but it's exciting that baby is coming soon though. Take care.

2020mission · 11/08/2021 10:02

I need to stop rushing with replies and read properly, sorry I realise it's 35 weeks @Kirky658 😅

Glad your knee is on the mend @Minster2012!

Somatronic · 11/08/2021 10:21

@Minster2012 glad to hear the knee is feeling better - hopefully it's not as bad as you originally thought.

@polkadotpixie don't apologise for venting! Thinking that AF is on the way is always tough.

@paintfairy sorry about the migraine. Fucking progesterone! I'm already dreading the next three months on letrozole because of the migraines Shock

Manifestingbaby · 11/08/2021 10:27

@Clairey844 so sorry I completely forgot to congratulate you! Ive been dipping in and out a bit. So glad to hear of baby's safe arrival. Hope you are both doing well x

@Minster2012 glad the knee is improving a bit. Kerp up the rest.

@becarefuloutthere hope all goes well for you today x

@Kirky658 poor thing, it's stressful when poa keeps changing. Hope you are doing well and got some rest and baby is safely here soon. We are all cheering you on.

@polkadotpixie can you reconsider being off antidepressants? Have you spoken to the gp about ttc safe medication? I know you ideally probably just wanted to be off thrm but maybe need to find a better balance. Be kind to yourself x

larrythelizard · 11/08/2021 12:26

@walkychalky another one who thinks chemical for you. So sorry and sending love.

@Minster2012 pleased your knee is ok the mend, much be such a relief.

@paintfairy hormones are fuckers at the best of time. Sounds a horrendous night, dog sick ergh! Can you nap today?

@polkadotpixie I know what you mean about thinking it'd be easier second time round and also another one it's much harder for. I conceived twice in the time I was trying (although on hiatus now). Echoing @Manifestingbaby is it worth a trip to the dr to investigate TTC safe anti-depressants?

Oh and today's gardening leave agenda:

Double session at the gym (didn't know I'd get invited to stay after!) and very pleased with myself as I managed to use a 20kg dumbbell this morning!

Put en suite back together after decorating it yesterday (although don't think I'll finish this as I'm waiting on a little cabinet)

Clean up office

Watch some virgin river

Do the online shop

Also might start prepping main bathroom for decoration in there!

becarefuloutthere · 11/08/2021 15:03

@Manifestingbaby thank you, hope you're well!? X
@larrythelizard very successful day!👏🏾

12 week scan didn't quite go to plan...had it sort of, but no pics and gotta go bk next week as my bladder wasn't full enough despite multiple attempts and walking, eating, drinking. Was there 2 hours! Did see and hear heartbeat so that was good but it was too dark for measurements and seeing clearly. It was all very chaotic and anti climatic but hopefully next weeks will be better and I'll come away with a pic and measurements and feeling better! Hope everyone is well, quite sunny in SE London today Smile

Sunbird24 · 11/08/2021 16:13

@Minster2012 that sounds like positive news with your knee, but please don’t push it too hard just in case!

@paintfairy sorry about the migraine and the rage!

@larrythelizard your agenda sounds good, but lacks cake…

@becarefuloutthere 2hrs with a full bladder and still no pics?? Fingers crossed for next week!

@polkadotpixie that sounds rough, like larry says is there a possibility of a different AD? I know I was still on citalopram when they did my egg collection last year, gradually weaned off them in January. If not, can they offer any other support?

larrythelizard · 11/08/2021 16:38

Argh annoying @becarefuloutthere good that you heard a heartbeat though, fingers crossed the bean behaves next week!

Valid point @Sunbird24 but I have put on 8kg since Xmas and that needs dealing with so limited cake on purpose!

Baby Alice was born at 1206pm via c section weighing 4lb 12oz. She has been struggling with her breathing so is on NICU but we are both doing fine. Xx

TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)
Sunbird24 · 11/08/2021 17:05

Well done @Kirky658, beautiful! Hope she’s not up there too long Flowers

Sunbird24 · 11/08/2021 17:07

@larrythelizard yeah I shouldn’t be having cake either really (10kg over lockdown, but I blame all the hormones!) but you definitely need something treaty

Manifestingbaby · 11/08/2021 17:22

@becarefuloutthere oh pity about the scan but at least you have the reassurance of seeing baby and heartbeat, czan understand the anticlimactic feeling though. I'm fine thanks, just over here living the anticlimactic ttc 😂

@Kirky658 I could cry! Welcome baby Alice. She is being well looked after I'm sure, hard not to have her with you though. Rest while you can , you have been through a lot. Congratulations darling x

bez91 · 11/08/2021 17:59

Wow @larrythelizard you're on fire 🔥 what a productive day!

@becarefuloutthere that's really frustrating, hope they manage to sort things next week and baby plays ball!

@Kirky658 wowzer congratulations 😍! Rest up best you can x

becarefuloutthere · 11/08/2021 18:04

@Sunbird24 he said my bladder takes a while to fill, the minute we left I had about 4 wees in the space of an hour 🙄😂
@larrythelizard thank you, yes indeed! I did see it's arms up by its head so it was defo pratting around in there 😆
Ah shame you've limited the cake but makes sense if you have weight to lose. Lockdowns have a lot to answer for!
@Kirky658 I commented on the pregnancy thread but didn't wanna not say on here too. Hoping all is ok soon!
@Manifestingbaby yes, very true. The anticlimactic ttc 😂 know that feeling well too! 20 months of infertility will do that to a girl. Where You up to with investigations now?
@bez91 I'll make sure I drink a litre of water this time, I went completely empty 🤦🏾‍♀️ as totally forgot!! So it was my fault really.

larrythelizard · 11/08/2021 18:05

Oh @Kirky658 huge huge congrats to you and DH! Hope Alice is back in your arms as quickly as possible but massive congratulations mummy! X

OP posts:
paintfairy · 11/08/2021 18:59

@Kirky658 omg. I was just scrolling through thinking about you and then told myself, don't be stupid, there won't be any update yet! That was fast. You'll have to fill us in when you get chance. Welcome baby Alice! I'm not sure she looks thrilled to be here mind? 🤔🤣
@larrythelizard no naps for me! We've changed his food tonight though. See if that makes a difference. Yay for virgin river!
@Somatronic God 3 months is a long time if it does give you headaches. 🙈

Franklydear · 11/08/2021 19:20

@Kirky658 welcome, baby Alice!
Just back home, so we’re gonna chilled for a bit
