TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The spotting stopped completely on Saturday morning, someone inform my boobs and pulling cramps, they haven’t heard, I feel very periody and creamy cm still, not days after period cm at all, but hey ho, dh is complaining I am on mumsnet, just after breakfast before leaving window so, ta da!

@minster2012 I'm cd33 and nothing too... Had the odd cramps but no sign of af, kinda glad I'm having all the bloods done to see if they can catch it. Hope your getting the rest you need.... What apps/ websites do you use to get all your Dr results, they gave me a list today of one's I can register with and have no lie which one to choose 🤣

@Vil10 @larrythelizard you can usually tell if you photos will be ok though? When looking at houses for sale the ones with the awful photos (assuming you mean quality) are always the same agents. When my DH sold his house the photos were amazing! But then I expected nothing else because that seemed to be their way. When you see houses for sale though with shit everywhere - not much the photographer can do about that. The house looks weird if it looks not lived in. But I've seen photos where they have laundry hanging to dry etc? Bizarre. Or one where there was so much clutter you couldn't even see the kitchen? I like looking at houses for sale. 🤣

My DS yesterday got milk out the fridge, and got the HUGE 2L bottle of orange cordial and MIXED THEM TOGETHER all over the f ing floor wanting to make orange milk. This was on DHs watch whilst I was chilling knee. I was livid. He's not spotted the ice cream yet though thank god

@Vil10 get photos of inside done first whilst dogs outside then bring dogs in and least that way anything they trample in doesn't matter. I'm sure it will look amazing!

@Dollybird89 I haven't used an app yet for appointments. I'm planning on going to the walk in centre so I can actually get it looked at & hopefully a referral from there

We were at a wedding over the weekend talking to someone who owns an estate agents and they were saying they hate it when they do a viewing and the owners leave their washing out everywhere! They've also had several instances of the sellers walking round in their boxers and asking the estate agents out... I ask you 🤣

So day 1 of 5, countdown is on, they're already trying to get me to take extra work on, how do I tell them politely to p**s off as its my last week and I really couldn't give a shit 😂

@Kirky658 honestly people do that??? God for our pictures the guy was really anal & made sure there was only ONE towel on each towel tail Cos apparently that's more appealing to the eye?!!! And he said "can you move the fire guard?" No I can't cos I've got a toddler and so it's understandable & im not going to do that for every viewing so they can deal with it! Errrm on work say "im not sure my mental health can cope with more work this week" they should run a mile!

So I'm sat at our walk in centre. They say 2 hours, and to sit in the car to be called. I shamelessly hobbled faster than a lady to get to the desk first which I'm not sorry about 🤣and I'm so annoyed that I might have to bail out early as I have an appointment with a an architect this afternoon but I had to wait til I could drop off X at my parents. Ffs

Left OH home alone for 20 min to post the IVF funding application (yay!) and came home to him hacking away at some concrete in the garden. He's totally destroyed a small tree peony that was next to it and when I pointed it out he just said "it was in the way". It literally did not even cross his mind that the fecking thing could have been moved if he'd given me a heads up??

@Juno231 oh no! We moved our peony along as we planted some portuguese laurels. It did cope well with that. Great news on the paperwork. The physio was possibly a waste of time. Keep doing what I'm doing. Gave me some extras. No need to go back but I've an open appointment should I need it. She did it's probably where they would expect it to be right now.

As for Estate agents- one wanted DH to replace the carpet on his attic stairs? We were like, erm no. It isn't that bad and like they'll be basing buying a house on that? 🤣

@Juno231 poor peony. My husband is a complete control freak in the garden to the point where I'm hardly even allowed to do anything out there, even if he's swamped with work and can't do it himself. He'd rather it gets overgrown and messy than let me loose out there. Weirdo.

Got a call from the fertility clinic ahead of my appointment tomorrow asking why DH didn't do a SA. He did one maybe 3 weeks ago. I really hope they didn't somehow lose it because the waiting list was fairly long and I'm so sick of all these tests. I want some fucking treatment now please!

@paintfairy I have a jasmine I planted against the new shed but am now realising isn't getting enough sunshine so I'll have to move it next weekend I think. Got a rose bush and two hellebores to move this autumn ahead of the construction work next year...

Speaking of construction work - our roof keeps leaking we were hoping to have started construction by now so there was no point patching it up but now it looks like we might not get started until next year so I guess that means getting someone in to patch it up in the meantime? With scaffolding it'll cost a fortune for something that will replaced anyway!

@Juno231 do they need scaffolding? We had ours looked at and bits sorted and they just used a ladder? Ours is just a normal semi though. And some plants we moved died. Others didn't. The peony is thriving though.

@paintfairy I just assumed they would - I feel like they always insist on it as it's £££.

@Juno231 @paintfairy he sounded flustered when I told him that and said he'd go look for the results. DH reckons it's because my name is unusual and complicated and they probably spelled it wrong or something (story of my life) so maybe his results didn't make it back to my file. Hopefully it's just that.

I'm with you on the construction situation. My house is a holy show but I want to get the big jobs done together rather than dribs and drabs and the result is that 2 years later the house is still in bits. It's fine, just ugly and really old fashioned. It's so hard to find a builder who isn't shit or a robber.

@Somatronic oh god, tell me about it. We've been here over 3 years and I still have no walls in the hall. 🤣 We did ok, living room, kitchen (just decor/ plasterwork) and 2 bedrooms and then it's just sat. We need our room sorting (that involves taking out fitted wardrobes and working out what else to put in to give similar space) before the landing/hall as it makes sense to do that, but christ I'm fed up of looking at the state of the hall. And bits drop off all the time so it's never clean. Literally drives me insane. But you are right about the getting people in. I originally contacted someone about the next stage last march. Yes 2020! And I'm booked in for November. 🙄🤦‍♀️ God knows when the hall will actually get done.

@paintfairy @Somatronic gah and all the materials are insanely expensive now due to shortages. I don't think we'll get hold of any builders free to do work until next summer now... However I reckon the work will cost us a fortune so with every delay at least when can save more money towards it. Knowing my luck I'll have a baby in the midst of construction without running water or something.

@Juno231 that was me when we renovated then extended. Me, DH and a newborn baby living in one room 🤦🏼‍♀️ how bad is the roof? But yes you definitely don't want scaffold up twice if you can help it, so expensive.
