Implantation bleeding

Hi just wanted some advice. I suffered an early miscarriage (@5 weeks) two months ago. About a week into my TWW I had some bleeding- After the BFP I assumed it was implantation bleeding. I've been thinking about it recently as from what I read it just doesn't seem right. It woke me up in the middle of the night, it was bright red and watery and soaked through my knickers. I had light spotting on and off for a few days after this. Most of what I've read says it should be very light bleeding/spotting. Any thoughts? It doesn't matter now of course but would be good to know what to expect or look out for next time :) I'm ovulating right now so fingers crossed for me 🥰 xx

Sorry for your early miscarriage. I’ve been pregnant 5 times now (but no baby) and I’ve always had quite heavy implantation bleeding with each one, in fact it’s similar to a light period.
It’s not been the start of a miscarriage, as I’ve gone on to have scans 3/4 weeks after and it’s been developing. I think everyone is really different when it comes to implantation bleeding as some people get none

I’m very new, just signed up today. 37 yrs TTC for 15 yrs. Had a shock Monday to test positive on a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks. Completely over the moon. However, since Tuesday I’ve been intermittent bleeding. Very light pink and mostly only on tissue when I’ve been toilet. I did another test today and showed 3weeks plus! I’d registered pregnancy with drs Monday as was there that day so I filled in the form for midwife. Luckily midwife called today, I explained all of the above and she said unless it gets heavier then it’s most probably implanting blood. I have a scan Tuesday in the early pregnancy unit, she said I was 5-6 not 3plus! I asked how she knew this without examining me and apparently for my hormones to jump from 2-3 to 3plus in a few days suggests I’m far more than that ?

Soooo my question ladies is how normal is implanting bleeding google says 1-2 days but mines 4!!!! Slight cramping too. I’m just so worried as I want so much to get excited but I feel I can’t 😣 thanks for listening to be xxx

Hi @Shelbel123 congratulations on your BFP! My implantation bleeding lasts 5/7 days, but I do have a uterine abnormality which I think makes it worst than other peoples. Mine was never pink, it was brown or bright red, enough to wear a pad/tampon and for me to think it was just my period!

I had positive pregnancy test for about 2-3weeks now an I’m have jus started bleeding no cramping my period ain’t due for another 4-5 days could this implantation?

Hi @Nutnut86 - implantation bleeding happens during implantation, so mostly around 9dpo, before you got a positive pregnancy test. What you're experiencing could have many reasons; if you're worried you might get an early scan?

I had implantation bleeding once and it was just a bit of pink on toilet paper coupled by maybe two drops of blood and that was it. I also bled brown and bright red in another pregnancy due to sun chorionic haematoma

Well it’s like red/orangy enough to wear a panty liner but doesn’t leak thru an it’s heavy like a period but not if that makes sense?

Can implantation be heavy?

@Nutnut86 sorry but it can't be implantation bleeding in your case as you already tested positive. Many women experience bleeding in their pregnancy, maybe you can get an early reassurance scan arranged? Did you already have one?

No I had my period last month an straight after that I did ovulation test an it’s was positive then I had it an then I bleed for a about an hour like spotting then it stop until the other day I been getting faint positive all the time I have no pain with my periods I get pain xx

What should I do test wise ?

But you wrote that you had positive pregnancy tests for three weeks now?

Yes I no it may have been less but I’m so confused at mon what’s goin on

Sorry @Nutnut86 I really don't know what to say as I don't quite understand the whole situation. If you tested positive three weeks ago, you might be able to get a scan. Otherwise I'd suggest to do another pregnancy test, maybe one with a week indicator. Best of luck to you.
