CB ovulation advice

Hi Ladies,

I'm in need of some words of wisdom.

First month using clear blue ovulation dig to try and track ovulation. I started testing cd9 got 3 negatives and got high from cd12 til today cd17.

Have I missed my peak? Am I just not going to ovulate? Or could I be ovulating late and should I keep testing?

Tbh me and dh have been dtd since cd10 and we are knackered.

I would keep testing.. some cycles are longer than you think. Mine were! You only need to DTD from when it starts flashing every 2nd day unless it turns solid. (However we only DTD once on peak the whole cycle this time as so much other stuff was going on and have my 12 wk s an tomorrow!)

I don't know what CD9 means but I started using my CB OPK 7days after AF started (based on my cycle length 25 days this is what CB suggested) but I didn't get my high fertility (flashing face) until day 10 then got my peak this morning (day 14 after AF started).

I'd say keep testing.m 😊

To be honest it could be either of those options. How long is your cycle normally? If it's 29/30 days or less then I suspect you had quite a short peak one afternoon and the CB missed it. But otherwise I'd keep going for a few more days in case you get a solid smiley. Or just ditch the monitor for this cycle and DTD every other day between now and when AF next arrives!

@WantStickyBean this is why I'm lost, last cycle was 38 days cycle before that was 25 x

Tbh I think me and dh are going to have a day off and dtd every other because this is exhausting.

But thank you so much for the advice it's been helpful and reassuring I really appreciate it 😊 xx

Finally got my static!

Cd19- so looking like I ovulate slightly later and have slightly longer cycles which is great to know 😊 xx
