Morning after pill while ovulating

I had unprotected sex with my partner on Sunday 25th July and took the morning after pill roughly 26 hours later on the 26th but according to my app I was ovulating from the 21-26th which means the days I had sex/took MAP on my most fertile days.. I’m now 7DPO still no period which is unusual for me what are the chances I’m pregnant?

I've read before that the MOP is pretty much void if taken during ovulation as you could have already ovulated and it won't do anything if you have already conceived. Your best bet is getting a First response early response from 6 days before your missed period. Good luck x

That’s what I heard too! It only happened once but I’m worrying now, I’m going to buy a test today and see what it says but I think it’s too early to tell x

If your 7dpo some people get faint lines on the first response early response at 10dpo x

I had the same experience and ended up pregnant.

Did you? How long did it take you to find out you were pregnant?

This is how I ended up with DC2! Condom split so took MAP the next morning, it didn't work as I was ovulating and found out I was pregnant 2 weeks later. He's now a wonderful 8 year old boy - but his big sister was only 1 year old at the time and we'd planned a 3 year age gap! 😂

Test from 10 or 11dpo, so 6th August. I hope you get a negative or your period! As others have said, MAP doesnt work if ovulation is already triggered

It's still more likely than not that you ARENT pregnant. People who are perfectly fertile, who have sex at exactly the right time, only get pregnant about 25% of the time

I think it's best to be prepared for it. I only did it once and fell pregnant with my son as it was peak ovulation time. Morning after pill didn't work.

That makes me feel abit better! The unknown is the worst! Hopefully I’ll have some answers soon.. x

I feel slightly relieved I'm not the only one in this position 🤦🏻‍♀️ I had sex in the morning and took map 3hrs later by the time I got through to 111 and a dr could prescribe. (No pharmacies open locally on a Sunday and had to drive 30 miles to collect from hospital). Currently nervously awaiting my period. Hard to know when it will arrive as I've only had 2 periods since my DD arrived 8m ago. This was absolutely not our plan, partner awaiting vasectomy but the condom rolled off inside me 🙈 sorry tmi but I feel like I need to get all of this off my chest! I just feel so careless and can't stop worrying!

@kayla197 did you end up pregnant? I took the morning after pill within 14hour of sex on the 29th july & im pregnant!
