Did I ovulate?

Hi everyone

I had three flashing smilies on the Clear Blue Ovulation tests, then yesterday, using a new pack, I'm showing the cirlce and again today.

Could I have just missed my ovulation? I'm new ttc so this is my first time tracking ovulation.

Have you had your static smiley face yet? Have you used the same holder throughout your cycle? Xx

@Westsussex did you just use a new set of strips or a new holder? You can't change holder mid-cycle or it resets as it will use your first test to get a baseline.

No OPK can confirm ovulation, they only confirm a hormone surge. You really need to track BBT to confirm if/when you ovulate.

I had 2 peaks on Clearblue Digital OPKs a couple of months ago as my body had geared up to ovulate but didn't for whatever reason (it's not uncommon) and I actually O'd over a week later.

They are good but don't take them as gospel x

@H8theW8 thank you so much, this is so helpful! As I used a new holder, I should have kept using the previous one but stupidly threw that away and started a new one, that makes total sense!

Well at least now I know, I feel better knowing I was at least getting ready to ovulate and maybe I can do it all properly next month!

@Westsussex you're not out this month! Keep DTD, keep an eye out for EWCM. I got 6 flashing smiley faces before my static last time I was TTC so you might not have ovulated yet 🤞🏼 best of luck x
