What’s going on with First Response?

Hello! I am 12 dpo and have gotten clear positives on internet strip tests, clear blue, clear blue digital and even a few other brands such as the Walmart 88 cent tests but FRER is coming up super super faint even though all those other brands are showing much clearer lines and it’s just worrying me. I’m 12 dpo and with my last pregnancy FRER was the leader of the pack. I had 3 boxes of FRER tests. One from Amazon, one from Target and one from a loca grocery store so it’s not like I got a bad box. They are all doing this. And the FRER digital said no when the clear blue digital said Pregnant. I’m sorry if this is in the wrong place but now I’m just so worried. I thought FRER was like the benchmark for all pregnancy tests and could sense the smallest amount of hcg so it should be the darkest but it’s the faintest. Has anyone recently or ever had this issue? Thanks for any advice or input!

I've never experienced this but if you've had clear positives on different brands of tests then I'd say ignore the FRERs. It's far more common to get false negatives than false positives and as Clearblue etc. Require a higher level of HCG to show a positive I'd say you don't have anything to worry about. Congratulations x

Are you sure its a FRER and not the plain first response tests??

Thanks for the reassurance!

Madeinthe80z, after reading your question I went back and looked at the boxes. 2 of them are Early Result and I realize now that the third box which housed one digital and one regular test does NOT say early result. But now I don’t remember what order I used them in because I just opened them all. Maybe I used the less sensitive one the most recently and that’s why it appears it’s not getting darker? That makes me feel better!
