Ovulation tests

Hello I've only started using ovulation tests this month and I'm only testing because my period says Im in the fertile window. Can't attach a picture yet but should be able to any minute...
The tests started getting a stronger line but now the lines getting faint again? I know it's not a positive until the test line is darker or as dark as the control line but the lines getting darker was the sign ovulation was coming but now it's just dyeing off? Does anyone know why this?
Would ovulation still keep coming if I got pregnant? Sorry if I sound stupid

Could be that you had your peak quickly and missed it. Surges do come and go though, they can go darker and lighter again at any point. When I was ttc mine were sometimes the faintest line and the next day blazing positive.

That's what I'm thinking has happened, I've missed it. I'll keep testing see what it says x
